Now that we know (based on actual DD postings) that many of the DD crew read this message board, I thought I'd note an observation or two (or seven) about how Pilchesky's sheep seem to view PilcheskyDeceit... Fantasy: We are all appointed cronies of the Mayor. Fact: Speaking for myself, I've never held a polticial job in my life, nor do I ever want to hold one. I am gainfully and happily employed in the private sector. As for the Mayor, I've spoken to him once or twice, but I've never contributed to any of his campaigns. Fantasy: Everyone here is a disgruntled former DD posters. Fact: Some here are disgusted former DD posters, others (such as myself) have never posted at DD. Fantasy: We all blindly support the Mayor. Fact: Read some of the f^%$king postings here...many of us have real issues with the Mayor's policies. We just don't think that alleging he is having an affair (for example) is any way to deal with those issues. Fantasy: This board is all about beating up Joe Pilchesky. Fact: We don't need to beat up serial-plaintiff Joe Pilchesky...actually he does the work for us...we simply point out the hypocrisy that he himself generates on a regular basis. For example... ...Pilchesky's tirade about how free speech doesn't apply at DD; ...Pilchesky's tolerance and encouragement of that RACIST PIG AntisemiticMovement's postings ("Imported Jews", "Whitey", "The Irish care more about their property values than their children"...and I could go on); ...Pichesky's allowing postings about the family of Judy Gatelli...pray tell Joe, just what did Judy Gatelli's granddaughter do to offend you?? Fantasy: People on this board hate Janet Evans. Fact: Incorrect...we simply feel that she sucks. For example...she sucks because on one hand she complains about corruption in government while on the other her own appointment to a full time teaching position in the Scranton School District remains very suspect (something about getting appointed while sitting as a School Director herself...you know, the very same School Directors who, you guessed it, appoint full-time teachers!). Fantasy: We are all members of the Brazil family. Fact: Actually we rotate that membership, which reminds me Lus that I haven't been a Brazil in a long damn time...I think it's my turn!! Fantasy: We are mean to people such as Fay'Foam@the Mouth' Franus, Granma and Les Spindler. Fact: Fay 'Foam @ the Mouth' Franus, Granma and Les Spindler get here just a fraction of the crap that they dish-out to others, so if anything, we should probably be meaner to them just to even things out. But I'll tell you what...I'll stop saying that Fay foams at the mouth if she stops claiming to speak for all of Scranton's residents, deal? Fantasy: We are all members of the ICN. Fact: Patently false. Actually, I am a member of the Trilaterial Commission. Rumor has it that Lus is a member of the Illuminati. I have never done anything blindly except for that unfortunate period in my youth when I dated a jerk for a bit because I was blinded by love. LOL LOL I do not agree/disagree with Mayor on all things, sometimes he gets it right sometimes wrong. Big deal! He is human as am I. It was neither filthy or vulgar. Disgruntled? No. Disgusted? Abso-freakin-lutely. Fantasy: We all blindly support the Mayor. If my miniscule donation to the man makes me a blind follower, then I guess I am guilty (or "Q"uilty, a la Granma). Did I work for the campaign? Sure. Did I have a sign in my yard? You betcha.
