When you look at Fay, (eesh) it only LOOKS like laugh lines around her mouth, but those lines are really commonplace on a ventriloquist's dummy. It surprises me that Janet's lips hardly move when Fay speaks. She must really be practicing these days. And Fay's got to wear those bulky shirts so you can't see the stick up her back where the puppetmaster operates the puppet.

So Gatelli thinks her council job is "very demanding for the very small salary that we get". I would venture to guess that a large portion of the population of Scranton's senior citizens must make do on $12,500 a year or less and that some people are working 40 hours a week and are receiving wages of $12,500 a year. And that is the reason Gatelli, McGoff and Fanucci's 25% real estate tax increase is so devastating to so many.

I seriously find it highly inappropriate that Ms. Gatelli would even mention her vacation in Italy at a City Council Meeting to a constituency struggling to keep food on their tables. As Ms. Gatelli has said so often to council speakers "It's not city business".

Sorry is I sound disrespectful on this one. If you are an adult and make 6.50 an hour it is time look for a new job. This poster is talking about working a 40 hr week and making 12500 a yr. Mcdonalds pays more than that. Maybe a Times Tribune paper boy makes that but I dont know. You can litteraly walk around and sell fruit and flowers and probably make more than that.

They all use this poor speech and blame others. They are poor because they lack skills necessary to get them hired at a good paying job. Blame yourselves your morons.

I'm still looking for all those homeless senior citizens resulting from the construction of the new high school. Yes, less we forget another one of Fay's grand crusades, that time claiming that fire, brinstone, locusts, and general pestilence would rain down on Scranton if we built the new high school. Well guess what: the school was built, it's had a positive impact on our community, and to the best of my knowledge no one was made homeless as a result of its construction.

Resulting Lesson: If Fay is against something, it probably makes sense to support it.
