I must be old, I can still remember the Schools having their conferences in house, they just carted us off to the gym, cafeteria/lunch room and or auditorium until it their conference was completed(Ok Sammy who watched you all when these "conferences" were going on??? Why don't I believe this one ... anyway I think what you might be referring to are meetings ... which could easily be held in house and are still held inhous along with teacher inservice days ... but tell me when did the School Board/Administrators/Teachers hold their conferences inhouse ... You do understand what a conference is don't you????? Somehow I don't think you do!)

Right after doherty is kicked out on his arse here in Scranton, a reduction in the salary and number of School Board Directors is also in order!(Sammy how do you reduce the salary of someone who does not get a salary???? I am wondering what the reduction to $0 would actually be ... I think before you begin to open your big mouth or in this case before you let you fingers fly on a keyboard ... you should actually do some research on the subject ... Go out and find a clue would you ... but what would life be like if you didn't spout off with your little pearls of wisdom .... I know I would not get as many laughs!!! You are the only remaining entertainment on DD ....)

Hmmmmm, when last I checked, in Scranton the Mayor has nothing to do with the School Board. Maybe Sammy thinks that Mayor Doherty has put a mojo on the board and controlls it through his powers of mental telepathy.

Can't remeber seeing Shimkus's name on My ballot



Note that Sammy lives close to me in Southside, so Ken Smith is his representative. Kinda funny that it's election day and he doesn't know this. Isn't there a "know your a$$ from a hole in the ground" requirement in order to be a Community Activist? Maybe the standards were lower in Newark.

going to the booth is certainly the biggest answer but over-seeing the count is just as important.

With the number of seniors that are fed up with those people, the number of youth that are seeking a new way of managing the direction this city is headed and with the number of rank and file public service employees at their wits end at trying to get the current administration to forfill their oath of office and to represent "ALL" of the people, there's no way these people could get re-elected or remain in office if the election tallies were on the up and up!

Form a "STRONG" 4 person ticket for Council

Get behind Phillips or whomever as the "SINGLE" candidate for the Mayor's seat

show these selfish bar-stidds the street but most importantly - make sure the count is above Water and not conducted on the way to the tallying location.


Ok ... Now Sam what part of there are three (3) seats up for grabs don't you understand ... not 4 .... only 3 ....

I always want to give people the benefit of the doubt until there is a preponderance of evidence to the contrary. I think with Sammy, we've definitely reached that point. He's just not a guy who is able to to pay attention to the details. That's ok actually...I work with a large number of people who really don't like to be "in the weeds" if you will...but Sammy's problem is that he has zero sefl-awareness and as a result, he comes across as this cartoon buffoon...which also just happens to match how he dresses.

Sammy needs to stick to talking about "Afro-Americans", "Doris", and "Mazza Joe". Keep it light, simple, and subservient. Talk about how "the Man" keeps him down.

One of O'Bee One's idols is President Lincoln [as well as the idol of many minorities and poor people that call America home], so it's no big surprise that he requested to use the Old State Capitol.

However, with that being said, I don't know every member of My immediate and or extended families [nor do I know of anyone living or deceased that did/does] and I sure as helll "DON'T KNOW EVERYONE of their FRIENDS and or ASSOCIATES", so where do you get off trying to include "OUR" President Elect with the alleged crimes of another simply because they knew one another, had a common friend/associate or because their line of work dictated that they have/had dealings with one another and as such just because Rezko has ties to Blagojevich that doesn't mean it has/had anything to do with O'Bee One.

Just because Blagojevich whom has of yet just been accused and charged with crimes does that mean that O'Bee One was also a party to those same allegations?

I know people that drink booze to excess, use drugs [both illegal and prescribed to excess], abuse their spouses, cheat on their Taxes, shoplift and a smorgasbord of other activities that they shouldn't be a party to and or of that I myself don't do, does that mean I'm culpable for their action illegal and or otherwise?

There have been officials [both within the Private & Public Sectors] that have been party to each and everyone of the crimes Blagojevich and his cohorts now face for years on end and it has been kept hush-hush.

But because a few people can't stand the idea of an Afro-American being selected by "THE PEOPLE" to serve as it's next President "PAY to PLAY" politics is making the front pages of news media outlets the country wide.

Maybe, if those "CORRUPT & CROOKED ELECTED/APPOINTED PUBLIC SERVANTS" basstiids from years past were made to pay for their self-serving deeds and "CRIMES" against the Populace in a court of law for their crimes it wouldn't be hard for yous people to accept that man as the "PEOPLES CHOICE".

I placed a call to that T.V. psychic women named Cleo and she sez to pull yourself up by the boot straps and admit that the same thing has been happening in the City of Scranton, Like-u-wanna County and the Commonwealth for years and "NOT ONE" word was said, so get over it.

O'Bee One will be sworn in as this country's next President and there's not a dayum thing you crooked somma-leeches can do about it!

Maybe if you would have stood for something and voted the "CORRUPT & CROOKED" out of office in this area, having to call and accept O'Bee One as the "PRESIDENT" wouldn't be such as shock to your system!

In my day a person removed his hat when entering a public bldg. What seems strange to me is citizens approching the podium with hats on. Very odd to me, was seeing SSgt. Jackowicz at the podium, as a militaryman, with headdress on, or as they say undercover. Nothing meant. just an observation.

Oh my God ... Sammy hates Sarge becasue Sarge did not want Obama ... oh well Sarge lost ... I'm sure that he will get over it ... but I think that right now in light of what is happeing in the IL Governors office ... some may be questioning Obama ... it's only natural ... so far they have been saying he is not involved .... but I guess Sammy doesn't like the free press when they are questioning Mr. Obama ...

I voted for Mr. Obama ... I do believe that he will withstand the scrutiny of an investigation ... and shame on Sam Patilla for wanting him to be treated any differently than any other President Elect would have been treated ... The current situation has nothing to do with the color of his skin ... but everything to do with the color of greed from the IL governor and apparently his wife, and the Rev. Jesse Jacksons son being willing to buy Obamas seat in the Senate.

Bill, Ozzie, Marie, Nelson and all the others give of themselves, their time, money and hearts in an effort to bring some sort of relief to those that can't defend, speak-up (or in some case speak out) for themselves, the champion the rights of the shut-in, the disabled, minorities, the elderly, the youth, the home owner, the homeless and every, those employed, those seeking employment and every other sect/class within this city.

and normally I don't give too shyyat if another person wants to drop to his or her knees and kiss the rear-end of others but in cases where the decisions (votes) of those butt-munching swine affect/effect the livelihoods of others then those fairies have to be dealt with in the manner called for.

doris and her pack of Tax Payer leeches have driven this city into a debt never before witness by a municipality of this size and I have to listen to people complain about what someone wore to a council meeting.

You know while in Boot Camp, I had this lil white dude by the name of Pope attempt to get on My nerves daily by saying little snide remarks and for the most part I just ignored his wimpy arse (during pugil stick training you are teamed up with someone of equal size and stature, so Sam you must be lil and wimpy), that was until the day we were at Pugil Stick Training and he called me the "N" word {it took 10 D.I's to get my hands from around his throat and his head out of that S.C. sand} (When conducting pugil stick training each recruit is wearing a helmet with a face guard, a flack jacket which oh by the way surounds the throat, and very large padded hockey style gloves, and a groin protector. Sam please explain how you were able to strangle someone through a throat protector with oversized hockey gloves) My senior D.I. wasn't to happy with me & force me to go a few rounds with the biggest 3 recruits in the Battalion (I kicked the 1st in his privates(Wouldn't feel it through the groin protector), cracked the second upside his head with the stick (stick is fully padded, and that combined with helmet makes me doubt that worked)and was head for the 3rd with "FIRE" in my eyes before My Senior D.I. tackled me and sent me back to the barracks) and later that evening, My Senior D.I. had me report to his living quarters where he proceeded to explain that he wasn't angry with me for fighting but he was pissed that I allowed Pope to play me out of pocket!

doris & company have played you and many more within this city out of pocket for years and with that being said, if you feel the need to be lead around by the hand by that worthless piece of shyyat then by all means proceed forward but for those that can speak their minds and speak for those either un-willing or unable and "REFUSE" to buy into the bull-shyyat that doris and company is selling/slinging any longer or were able to read that "CORRUPT & CROOKED" somma-leech from day 1 like a book!

It might be time to sue both the Commonwealth and the Federal Government for their combined "FAILURE" to protect the Tax Paying Base and the Citizens from the "CORRUPTION and COLLUSION" taking place in Scranton Politics and those within Lackawanna County!

Hit everyone of those crony somma-byycthes in their political mouthes, expose everyone of their contributors and crony receipents in their wallets with a massive dose of NATIONAL EXPOSURE!

Scranton's resident Village Idiot stays true to form with his "mind not clearly focused" message board ramblings - Lunatic ramblings. Very similar to his previous ramblings and querky use of the English Language

For someone who claims to have forgotten (brain cells are a terrible thing to waste on drugs ya know) more about computers than most college computer science majors you speak more of your own conspricy theories than hardcore truths or facts.

Besides aren't bonifide contractors in the city required to be licensed and also have permits when they perform work. In addition contractors are required to have liability insurance. Sammy, when you have a chance give us your Scranton contractor license number and tax ID number, unless of course everything is done off the books.


Clearly a DOlt who brings legitimacy to their website and cause.

For someone who claims to have forgotten (brain cells are a terrible thing to waste on drugs ya know) more about computers than most college computer science majors you speak more of your own conspricy theories than hardcore truths or facts.

Besides aren't bonifide contractors in the city required to be licensed and also have permits when they perform work. In addition contractors are required to have liability insurance. Sammy, when you have a chance give us your Scranton contractor license number and tax ID number, unless of course everything is done off the books.


Clearly a DOlt who brings legitimacy to their website and cause.

I clicked your link preacher and it led me to a sparklit page that is not DD. Perhaps you could redo that link. I would do it for you however I do not know which rambling by Mr. Patilla you are referring to ... as there are so many!

Is this guy for real?  I can barely comprehen what is trying to say half the time.  It's like reading some kind of cartoon.

If I were someone like Shari, I'd take up a collection and bribe Patilla NOT TO SPEAK OR WRITE, as he does more harm to the anti-Doherty cause than any Doherty supporter every could.
