Well ... maybe he's done something there that he's ashamed of and thinks that if they find out where he is from they will do a name search on him ... god only knows what it will reveal ... or maybe he just hates N.J. ... who knows ... no matter where I would ever live I would always be proud to say that I was born and raised right here in Scranton ... this is where my heart will always be ... even if I ever moved ... It seems that Sammy-Boy is taking quite the Hecky-shecky beating across the hall over his plea deal.

The truly ironic part? I think he did the RIGHT THING by taking a plea. Why put himself and his family through the time and expense of fighting something like this? It's truly not worth it. He should just say "Yes, I took a plea deal. It was the best opition for myself and my family" and leave it at that. Nothing to be ashamed of. The fact that he is dancing around it...and having Anti be his "Official SpokesRacist"...is actually making the whole thing kind of funny.

I don't know if this is on your list but I really would like an answer from the former Council President concerning why if it was known within the doherty administration that there were problems concerning the completion of a factual/verifiable audit (s) of the Single Tax Office as early as fiscal year 2006 did she sit on her rear and not "ONLY" allow the funds needed to conduct an annual audit of that office [as required by LAW] to be cut/reduced but in-addition while in the position as a SWORN Elected official skirt her duties and allow doh card blanche to do as he wanted, when he wanted and how he wanted, unopposed? [For the record, I believe that for 2006 Ms Janet Evans was the chair on Fiance. By Samm's logic, she is as guilty as Judy may be. I fact, the President of Council has no more authority in this area than any other council member. ]

Judy Gatelli took an oath of office attesting that she would faithfully execute the laws of the of the City of Scranton

1. Yet she abdicated the Scranton City Council's authority to create, abolish, or organize any office, agency, department, or instrumentality of the government of the City of Scranton to Doherty and thusly "VIOLATED" her duty as Council President to define the powers, duties, and responsibilities of any such office, agency, department, or instrumentality, thereby "FAILING" to place the Health and Welfare of the Citizens/Tax Payers of th City of Scranton 1st and Foremost. [Seriously, is that a real sentence in the English language? It sounds like a 6th grader trying to speak in Elizabethan English. I'd comment on his actual content, but I'm not sure he actually as any content to comment on.]

2. In her role as Scranton Council President why did she "VIOLATE" her Oath of Office by allowing non-qualified/under qualified appointments/hirings by Doherty in "DIRECT VIOLATION" of the Home Rule Charter, P.E.L. and the Sunshine Act.
[Every single politician on the planet Earth is guilty of this, period, end of story. If Sammy thinks Judy is somehow unqiue in allowing the unqualified to serve, then maybe he's been at the Ganga a little too much lately. I've said in this forum that Mayor Doherty has made some HORRIBLE appointments over the years, but I also understand that bad decision making is a human trait...and Chris Doherty isn't immune.]

3. For good measures you can inquire on how she [or her attorney] expects to be quoted in the rag for calling Council Speakers "POLITICAL TERRORIST" but seek to misuse the judicial system when that same term is used in describing the actions of certain Elected/Appointed "PUBLIC SERVANTS" [HA HA..."misuse the judicial system"? I guess Sam's obviuous learning disability prevents him from seeing the irony of making that statement in a forum where the administrator once sued a Little League and has lost something like 24+ court cases.. If Judy Gatelli called council speakers "politicial terrorists" she was wrong; "f-ing morons" would have been much more appropriate.]
Oh and of course she should be asked why she sat on her rear for 6 years and allowed the Police, Fire and Clerical depts. to go without a Pay Raise/Cost of Living Increase? [As council president, Judy's only real authority was to keep order at meetings (which she failed at BTW) and set the agenda. I'm thinking those two responsibilities HAVE ABSO-FRREAK'N-LUTELY NOTHING To do with the Police and Firemen not having contracts. You can rightfully put that one in the Mayor's corner, but not Judy's. In fact, if you want to blame Judy Gatelli for that, you will have to spread the blame to also include Queen Janet and Mr Cartright (sorry...that would be Courtright...I was thinking like Sam).
