The DPW Director in Taylor faces prison time and offered his resignation after being convicted of taking kickbacks. The story is here.
There was an accusation, someone notified the feds, who looked into it, brought charges, and were able to prove their case in court. Sounds almost exactly like what Pilchesky and company have been accusing the Doherty administration of doing for years. The difference is actually having proof. Joe has none. Taylor apparently had it in spades. Down the road, it took less than two years to shake out. Across the hall, it's been five or six years, and it hasn't gotten past the baseless accusation phase.Amazing what having actual proof can accomplish, isn't it?
I guess some things they just don't teach in The Idiots Guide to Law, like common sense.
Common sense is rare across the hall ... I saw that on the news this morning and had the exact same thought on this situation Paul ... Proof ... if they had it ... they would have been taken seriously ... but obviously ... there is no proof.
Although I have no doubt that the neighbors across the hall are going to begin saying that the Administration has paid off the ... Judicial System (oh already said it) ... the FBI ... because no doubt they are all card carrying members of the IBM ... oh I mean the ICN ... and I'm sure that this Administration in their collective opinions has a never ending financial well to go to ... thus allowing them to pay off any and all that look into their business.
Now I am NOT saying that is what has happened ... what I am saying is that is probably the justification they are giving for all of their baseless accusations!
