We do not ban people but we will edit a post that is considered to be inappropriate. We have removed posts about Jan and Joey & his wife and posted immediate apologies to them for inappropriate post. Does DD.com ever do that?

As to Jan you are right we do not like her actions and we have said that, again completely harmless.
As to proof? Proof about what?
We have accused her of nothing illegal or corrupt. We have said she grandstands so? That is our opinion of her behavior it is hardly a harmful observation. We have said she talks too much, that needs no proof it's simply our impression. If you think she talks too little or just the right amount that's fine. Again that is hardly a harmful observation.

Where proof was neededI haveprovided it.

I have called in to question her trustworthiness, that might be harmful, so I most certainly did provide proof in my post I will restate it here. In her recent interview with the paper she denied knowing about DD web site, posting at DD.com or knowing Joey. I flat out disbelieve she knows nothing about the website. My reason for that is the following: 1. anyone in politics would know about the website, as it widely talked about in those circles both positively and negatively, 2. Jan most certainly moves through those circles and unless she is hearing impaired would have at the very least overheard comments about the site, 3. aquamg is Fay Franus (by Fay's own admission we have the post to back that up). She is a close friend of Jans, surely you know Fay would have talked to her about the website and her frequent postings. Based on that evidence I do not believe her to be truthful on the issue of not knowing about DD.com. Do you believe her?
I flat out disbelieve her statement that she does not know Joey. My reason is as follows 1. She first stated she did not know him and then restated that she only knew him very casually in the same article. I am very suspicious of someone who has to change their story over such an easy question. She certainly shouldn't have been too mentally challenged by the question, it was, after all, a simple question. 2. After being less than forthcoming about her knowledge of Joey she further had to acknowledge having him over for dinner. Now I ask you Jimbu... how many people do you have over for dinner that you dont know. I have already said I have no one over that I dont know. Therefore I have to say I found her to not be truthful about the issue of whether she knows Joey. Do you believe she does not know Joey?

Therefore I judged this denial about posting on DD.com in the same way a Judge would decide it in a civil court hearing. Based on her previous answers which I believe to be untruthful, I do not believe her to have been truthful about posting on DD.com. Do you believe her?

First, thanks for the great response. I couldn't top what you wrote, and I won't even try. But I just can't help myself when it comes to Jimbu mentioning me by name.

Second, Jimbu...if you didn't know who 'Agamemnon' was, then why make the choice to sound like a complete, utter dumb f&^k and instead simply just look it up? I know, looking it up might require fifteen seconds of effort, and besides, for you it's easier to simply toss a few hate-bombs. Lazy and stupid...what a combination.

Third, "grow a pair"? Funny, but that seems to be your standard response to every guy you can't match wits with. Anyone else see the irony in our boy Napoleon there sitting behind his computer desk questioning the masculinity of other people? I can't speak for Art, but I'll say this: you are a lucky man-child that this is cyberspace, where pant-loads like you can exercise your 'cybermuscles'.

Jimbu actually I am glad that you are still here ... out of all of our new posters I have to say that I think that you are the one I would miss should you go ... do don't think I was thrilled at the thought of you being gone ... now the other two ... I could care less if they stay or if they leave.

I think that you just may have something to contribute ... should you stop being so angry that is. I certainly would like to know what it is that makes you think that I spend the majority of my time drinking beer and looking through the bottom of the glass? But you don't have to explain it and I guess there are literally thousand of worse things that you can say about me. Do I have the occassional beer ... yes I do ... do I drink every day ... no I don't ... sometimes I even like to have a mixed drink ... does this make me a lush ... maybe I just don't know ... I guess in your opinion it does ... in my opinion it does not ... but you know what they say about opinions.

Am I being hypocritical ... let me know what it is exactly that I'm being a hypocrite about ... and I will try and correct that ... I do think that we are all hypocritical about some things ... But let me tell you one thing ... this site was not created to bash Chris Doherty or any other politician for that matter ... it was created because I was banned from DD for having an opinion other than the one of Mr. Joseph Pilchesky. I was sent an email when I was banned stating that if I ever pull my head out of the sand and begin to think the right way that I would be welcomed back to DD as a poster ... I did not and will never believe that he should have the right to tell me how to think so I created this place.

I call it Pilchesky Deceit because Joe claims to be the defender of the freedom of speech ... his claim to defend the people and their right to say what it is they want to say was washed down the drain with the banning of people who did not share his opinion ... that was wrong and deceitful. He is exactly what he accuses the administration of being ... he is guilty of having cronies (his posters) and favoritisim (again his regular posters) ... and that's ok ... I wrote to him and told him that I was goint to create this place before I ever did it ... so he was well aware that it was coming ...

This is a place for those of us who want to address the postings ... to actually do it ... the racist rants of Anti ... the postings of Granma (whom I am actually a great fan of) ... Our feelings on Janet Evans (you can defend her if you choose to) ... we also have the right to freedom of speech ... the difference here is that you will not be banned for simply having a different opinon from the rest of us. A great example of this is Paul ... Paul didn't like us in the very beginning. Here is the post that got Paul banned from DD ... now do you really think that was the correct response to his post?

As you can well see ... Paul stayed ... we did not change him one bit ... he's an original ... we never once told him how he should think ... have we at one time or another disagreed with each other here ... Oh Yeah we did ... but here is the thing ... you can do that here ... you dare not do that at DD.

I do not have all of the power here ... did I create the place ... yes ... but it is the posters that make it live ... they breathe life into it ... I could go away tomorrow and this place would go on without me ... that is the difference between PD and DD ... I know that this place may have started out about how I was feeling ... but it has taken on a whole new meaning ... it's about the thoughts of the posters ... who do not always agree ... but they have a place to voice their opinions ... we only ask that you be respectful and truthful in what you post ... can you poke a bit of fun ... yes you can ... at us and at the posters across the hall ... and that's the difference between us and them.

Jimbu you are welcome here ... I think that in the end you will make a fine addition to PD ... and you can even continue to call me Lush if you want ... all I ask is that you be respectful to our posters here ... but I do not control you and you will do what you do ... and in the end the most that will happen to you is your posts may be edited.

Occassionally you will be asked to take part in a poll if a poster becomes so disruptive and disrespectful that a poster does ask for a banning ... it comes down to a vote of the membership here ... and the majority rules.

Aga...I will try and answer you the best I can. First...YOU are the one who started with me, YOU are the one who called me gutless behind a keyboard, I simply responded by letting you know where I'd be on a particular evening, you chose not to respond, and now, 2 weeks later, you want to say I have nothing more than cyber muscles. My offer still stands Aga, name a time and place, Mon. is my last day of work for the week, Tues. I'm taking the kids to Dorney Park, after that, MY WEEK IS WIDE THE F*CK OPEN!!! As you can well see ... Paul stayed ... we did not change him one bit ... he's an original ... we never once told him how he should think ... have we at one time or another disagreed with each other here ... Oh Yeah we did ... but here is the thing ... you can do that here ... you dare not do that at DD.

I do not have all of the power here ... did I create the place ... yes ... but it is the posters that make it live ... they breathe life into it ... I could go away tomorrow and this place would go on without me ... that is the difference between PD and DD ... I know that this place may have started out about how I was feeling ... but it has taken on a whole new meaning ... it's about the thoughts of the posters ... who do not always agree ... but they have a place to voice their opinions ... we only ask that you be respectful and truthful in what you post ... can you poke a bit of fun ... yes you can ... at us and at the posters across the hall ... and that's the difference between us and them.

Jimbu you are welcome here ... I think that in the end you will make a fine addition to PD ... and you can even continue to call me Lush if you want ... all I ask is that you be respectful to our posters here ... but I do not control you and you will do what you do ... and in the end the most that will happen to you is your posts may be edited.

Occassionally you will be asked to take part in a poll if a poster becomes so disruptive and disrespectful that a poster does ask for a banning ... it comes down to a vote of the membership here ... and the majority rules.

I am suprised you don't feel you can answer my post. I think yoiu could very easily. I haven't twisted a single word of your posts, I have simply responded to them. I also responded to the implication thatI made an accusation against Missy Jan without anything to back up my comments. I believeI provided ample back-up to support my comments. My question to you was simple based on the facts as they appeared in the interview do you or do you not believe Jan when she denied knowing Joey, knowing about the website, and posting on the website? If, as you claim, it is wrong ( asI agree it is also) to be untruthful as a public official doesn't that apply to all public officials?

Agamemnon (Greek: "very resolute") is one of the most distinguished of the Greek heroes. He is the son of King Atreus of Mycenae and Queen Aerope, and brother of Menelaus. Because of the antiquity of the sources, it is not clear whether Agamemnon is a historical figure.

In alternative traditions Agamemnon is said to be the son of Pleisthenes (son of Atreus) and Aerope, or of Pleisthenes and Cleolla, daughter of Dias, making him the grandson, rather than the son, of Atreus. [1]

Early life

Agamemnon's father Atreus was murdered by Aegisthus and his wife, who took possession of the throne of Mycenae and ruled jointly with his father Thyestes. During this period Agamemnon and his brother, Menelaus, took refuge with Tyndareus, king of Sparta. There they respectively married Tyndareus' daughters Clytemnestra and Helen. Agamemnon and Clytemnestra had five children: four daughters, Iphigeneia, Electra, Chrysothemis, and Iphianissa and one son, Orestes.

Menelaus succeeded Tyndareus in Sparta, while Agamemnon, with his brother's assistance, drove out Aegisthus and Thyestes to recover his father's kingdom. He extended his dominion by conquest and became the most powerful prince in Greece.

Agamemnon's family history, dating back to legendary king Pelops, had been marred by pederastic rape, murder, incest, and treachery. The Greeks believed this violent past brought misfortune upon the entire House of Atreus.

Agamemnon gathered the reluctant Greek forces to sail for Troy. Preparing to depart from Aulis, which was a port in Boeotia, Agamemnon's army incurred the wrath of the goddess Artemis. There are several reasons throughout myth for such wrath: in Aeschylus' play Agamemnon, Artemis is angry for the young men who will die at Troy, whereas in Sophocles' Electra, Agamemnon has slain an animal sacred to Artemis, and subsequently boasted that he was Artemis' equal in hunting. Misfortunes, including a plague and a lack of wind, prevented the army from sailing. Finally, the prophet Calchas announced that the wrath of the goddess could only be propitiated by the sacrifice of Agamemn

Her death appeased Artemis, and the Greek army set out for Troy. Several alternatives to the human sacrifice have been presented in Greek mythology. Other sources claim that Agamemnon was prepared to kill his daughter, but that Artemis accepted a deer in her place, and whisked her to Taurus in Crimea. Hesiod said she became the goddess Hecate.

Agamemnon was the commander-in-chief of the Greeks during the Trojan War. During the fighting, Agamemnon killed Antiphus. Agamemnon's teamster, Halaesus, later fought with Aeneas in Italy. The Iliad tells the story of the quarrel between Agamemnon and Achilles in the final year of the war. Agamemnon took an attractive slave and spoil of war Briseis from Achilles. Achilles, the greatest warrior of the age, withdrew from battle in revenge and nearly cost the Greek armies the war.

Although not the equal of Achilles in bravery, Agamemnon was a dignified representative of kingly authority. As commander-in-chief, he summoned the princes to the council and led the army in battle. He took the field himself, and performed many heroic deeds until he was wounded and forced to withdraw to his tent. His chief fault was his overweening haughtiness. An over-exalted opinion of his position led him to insult Chryses and Achilles, thereby bringing great disaster upon the Greeks.

According to the Iliad, when the war was thought to be lost cunning Odysseus devised a plan. As a token of surrender he gave the Trojans the famous Trojan Horse. In the night warriors crept out of the wooden horse and captured the city.

After the capture of Troy, Cassandra, doomed prophetess and daughter of Priam, fell to Agamemnon's lot in the distribution of the prizes of war.

After a stormy voyage, Agamemnon and Cassandra landed in Argolis or were blown off course and landed in Aegisthus' country. Clytemnestra, Agamemnon's wife, had taken a lover, Aegisthus, and they invited Agamemnon to a banquet at which he was treacherously slain. According to the account given by Pindar and the tragedians, Agamemnon was slain by his wife alone in a bath, a piece of cloth or a net having first been thrown over him to prevent resistance. Clytemnestra also killed Cassandra. Her wrath at the sacrifice of Iphigenia, and her jealousy of Cassandra, are said to have been the motives of her crime. Aegisthus and Clytemnestra then ruled Agamemnon's kingdom for a time, but the murder of Agamemnon was eventually avenged by his son Orestes with the help of his daughter Electra.

That post which you are correct did and does cover what we went over about a week ago ... however when I saw it again ... I responded ... I do not think my response was out of line ... if it was I apologize to you ...

I showed you the posts of Tim and Paul to show you why this place was created ... and that not everyone here thinks alike ... contrary to popular belief .... we are all individuals with our own thoughts ...

You feel that we will ban you ... we will not ... you can speak your mind as long as it is within the rules of conduct ... and as far as you being dumb ... nobody here thinks you are dumb (at least they have not mentioned that) ... confused ... I myself often get confused ... it's not hard as I am getting up in years and well ... confusion comes along with that.

During the seige of Troy, Agamemnon offended the greatest of the Greek warriors, Achilles, when he took the girl Briseis from him. Achilles' anger with Agamemnon furnished the mainspring of the plot in the Iliad. After the sack of Troy, Agamemnon acquired Cassandra, the daughter of King Priam, as his concubine, and took her home with him to Greece.

Agamemnon had an unhappy homecoming. He was either blown off course and landed in the country of Aegisthos, or he came home to his own land to find Aegisthus waiting for him. In either case, Aegisthus had become the lover of Clytemnestra, and the two together murdered Agamemnon and Cassandra shortly after their arrival. Aegisthus and Clytemnestra then ruled Agamemnon's kingdom, but were eventually killed by Agamemnon's son, Orestes (or by Orestes and Electra in some accounts). The homecoming of Agamemnon and its aftermath were favorite subjects for Greek tragedy.

Shari...I am very impressed!

Point stands though...While Achilles was pissed at Agamemnon for his overtly horn-doggyness, in the end he fought on the side of the Greeks (after Hector killed one of his friends, Patroclus).

Now if my nickname was Hector your analogy would have worked.

Oh, as for spelling errors, 'ignotance' was taken from a rather noteworthy Granma post, where she called various people 'Ignotant' several times in big, bold letters. In other words, I did spell that one wrong on purpose (read the 'Granma' thread here as a reference). Mind you I do spell things wrong all the time, so do continue to point out anything else you see.
