You know what Art ... I thought Dan Hubbard was white also ... but then again I could be wrong ... it has been know to happen from time to time ... I am not ashamed to admit that.

Here is what I think ... Sam Patilla was out of Order when he made the statement about the "Rules of Engagement" ... he is in my opinion a very unstable character ... and that statement I would have taken as somewhat of a threat ... but that's just me and that's only my opinion ...

Charlie Newcombe was not charged because the only thing he was guilty of was calling Sam Patilla an idiot ... I would not say that was starting the fight ... that was an exercise of his freedom of speech ...

Now all of a sudden because Charlie thinks that Sam Patilla is an idiot ... he has somehow become a doobee ... hmmm ... I think that Charlie was more than likely there to air a grievance as he is not the regular speaker that he once was ... seems as though when he does come he has business to discuss ... that means that he's somewhat of a reasonable guy ... mind you I said somewhat ... he was angry according to the Times that he was denied his right to speak because of the behavior of Sam Patilla ... hence the idiot statement ... I have to say I may have reacted the same way ... I don't put any blame on Mr Newcombe ... I do think that Sam can come to a meeting ... and make a well informed ... strong point ... without playing it up for the cameras ... and that's what he does ... he slams his hands ... he acts out in an agressive manner ... how does he expect people to react to him when he is continually yelling at the members of council each week ... Janet must not have liked his manner this time as I read on DD that it was she who made the motion to adjourn this time ... but I guess that's ok when Jan makes the decision ... oh well as I stated before ... DD has a double standard for all who dare to disagree with them.

I've watced that tape quite a few times, I only saw Sam try in vain to enjoy that thing called free speech until Judy Gatelli repeatedly interrupted him, provoking him as much as possible.

While it may appear that Dan Hubbard is white, he MAY want to be referred to as LowerGreenRidge-American from now on, just to be assured there is a differentiation between him and everyone else in the city.

Lus, with reference to the meeting in question, the end of the meeting was really confusing. Judy was the one who motioned to adjourn, almost immediately afterward, (and it pains me to say this) it was Janet who made a motion to recess, instead. When Sheri chimed in with a second to one of those motions, I am not sure which she was second-ing. Apparently it was the one to adjourn.

And, for the record, I would not want to have a conversation with Sam Patilla in a church, let alone in council chambers or City Hall. He is one seedy character whose company I would cross the street to avoid (and not because he is a SouthSide-American, either).

He's frightening because he looks completely unstable, like he's ready to blow at any minute. Has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Don't you know that's different Ag ... these are elected officials we are talking about here ... we have the right to use them abuse them and throw them out of office when they make decisions that we don't like.

Actually that is not the way that I feel ... but the feeling I get everytime I read something from across the hall.

I am prepared to concede to the DD.com people that Sam Patilla was arrested because he was black. I reviewed the information and realize that there is a new world order in place and Scranton is ground zero.

The new world order is frightening - especially for the dd.com crew and LOD'ers.

Ray Lyman can expect to be arrested for being a twit.

Janet Evans will be arrested for being a monotone, self centered, hack.

Jim Davis will be arrested for being a racist.

Lee Morgan and Les Spindler will both be arrested for fashion violations.

Sam will face more charges - this time for having a hair style that's not appropriate for a man his age.

I'm sure others can expect to be charged.

We need to join our LOD brothers and sisters and revolt against the machine.

The military claim is questionable. He claimed at a city council meeting to be a marine that guarded missile silos. Last time I checked it was the Air Force or SAC that guarded missile silos. Maybe in crazy dreadlock ICN world marines guard missile silos.
