Nice post Agam spot on as usual. As to spelling Pukechesky I must say I personally favor Stacy Brown's version of the spelling, quite appropriate I believe. However, given that he likes me (I can tell you know) I get to also call him Clarence which is a little nickname I gave him, I think he like it also. Naturally this is only my opinion, thought, and guess (that goes out with love to RTP <smooch> )

If that's true (which I doubt) it will be the biggest news story in the state for a long time. If it's true, he is the biggest hypocrite ever to walk the earth. And, maybe the Yankees will feel a back lash around here in ticket sales and other promotional efforts.
Now, saying that, I did notice the ad, but it just said that the meeting place had been changed from the 6th floor to the Stadium. That happened with all the authorities. One by one the authorities moved their meetings from the 6th floor to other locations, usually their own offices and meeting rooms.

On one hand it would make sense that Cordaro would take advantage of an opportunity to get a job, and leave politics here, but then again, if he were going to do that, the deal would have already been discussed, and it would beg the question as to why Cordaro continues to fight for the commissioners' seat?

They all know the end is near. The changing of the guard will include a complete makeover. Most have already been interviewed and ready to go, as they will have to be for a smooth transition. The meeting tomorrow is for to tell everybody that they paid the stadium off and nothing more. They just want to take credit for the payoff which they had nothing to do with. Is it not a shame that Ray and Joe were the people that brought that stadium here and it took Bob very little time to give it away. Just like everything else he has given away, mostly to his Camapaign contibutors which is his payback. He destroyed the Courthouse which was absoutely beautiful a pride and joy of Ray. He just wants to destroy eveything that the prior and past Democratic Majority built up. The main reason is because he could never get the support of the Democrats WHEN HE WAS A DEMOCRAT they new he was a bad apple and now he is deceiving the Republicans. Yes he was a Democrat. He sold your party down the river with all of his deceptions andout right poor management,why could you support such a person. He has in the past had businesses that failed and his Dad bailed him out and still is.Why doesn't your party support true Republicans. Yes, a mortgage burning - so much for the rumor Bob is the Mandalay VP.
I think this election is far from over - too much negativity coming out of the W&O'B camp. Too many old time D's still not returning to the fold. And, God only knows Bob and A.J. have salted the mines with money and projects all over the county. Plus - no active advertising campaign for W&O'B. I see Cordaro and Munchie morning, noon and night telling me what a great job they are doing, and their latest flyer told me the county is now a much safer place than in 2003 - that's true - not one single terrorist attack!
Then, I did hear that the golf tournament wasn't that well attended - less than a full house and only one flight in the afternoon - something like 25-6 foursomes. I don't have this from Elmhurst, so I'm not standing behind it 100%. And, it was a "Democratic" golf tournament, not specifically for W&O'B - so, that even makes it worse - IMO.

Well, now, let us not forget despite heroic attempts to find a way, Judy Gatelli doesn't have that option to shut us up. Soooo, she sued quite a few of us last spring. It's called a SLAP lawsuit.

A Slapp suit, which stands for strategic litigation against public participation, is a lawsuit designed to silence by litigation, members of the public who voice opposition (remember Dan Hubbard and the recent lawsuit brought against him?).

Her goal is to silence opposition to her "rule."

If Gatelli had her way, an amendment would be added to the Constitution repealing the first amendment. Let's hope the judge from Monroe County wipes this huge loogie from one of our most revered documents and sends Gatelli's lawsuit into the same void her political career is headed for.

If Gatelli is successful in her bid to identify posters, I will appear at council and read my allegedly "offensive" posts into council record and I would remind the Council solicitor to review Bach v. School Board of the City of Virginia Beach before my appearance.

It's time all of us nobodys understand the fear Gatelli referred to was not physical fear but the fear of being seen for what she is. The emporer is naked.

Isn't it amazing how everything becomes Gatelli's fault ... You know I have an ingrown toenail and I think that may be Judy's fault as she looked at me and well it wasn't until she looked at me that I developed this ingrown toenail ... I think it's her fault somehow.

How rediculous are they ... could it be that the funding just didn't go through yet if they voted to give them money ... last I knew they were in charge of approving such funding ... however Judy does not have access to the actual checkbook to write that check.

When do you all think Stu Renda will get all his certs in order to be the Director of the Department? People are not going to respect any of the Mousekteers. All the honest people know the truth. A couple points on why this poster is an idiot:
  1. Serial plaintiff Pilchesky isn't the "enemy of corruption"...he's simply the enemy of people he does not like. Case in point: Janet Evans, who just happened to get a full-time teaching position while simultaneously serving on the school board that hires teachers. Quite the coincidence that her son teaches in the district as well, is it not? But no, Pilchesky doesn't see any corruption there, as Queen Janet throws him a bone every once in a while and like a good cur, he wags his tail in appreciation.
  2. Oh, it's spelled 'corruption', not 'corrouption'. I know we all make spelling effors, but some of us actually try and spell the bigger ones right.
  3. Don't you just love the drama of "Stay alert stay alive", as if Joe is in the jungles of 'Nam or something? Note: He's a small town bully, struggling to get noticed. Years ago he was physically intimidating, but having lost that he's relegated to using the court system for his shake-downs.
  4. Alot of friends? What, probably 20 people regularly post at DD. Oh, and I've spoken to a few Scrantonians, and the one's that know of him almost always respond by saying "Oh, you mean that nut that files all the lawsuits?".
  5. "IT IS A MOVEMENT"...yes, as in the bowel kind. Both stink.
  6. For the life of me I can't figure out how comparing Pilchesky to salad dressing works as a metaphor on any level.

I've been following the courthouse project very closely. There are an awful lot of "whitehats" standing around. White hard hats are reserved for bosses and supervisors. The actual workers are going pretty good. In fact, they are working from 7:00 am every morning until dark outside...and beyond. There were also construction workers there all last weekend and this weekend too. I wonder what the rush is getting the sod in, and the sidewalks poured?

Seems to me that all thisovertime (or possibly doubletime) pay is not necessary. Why does the sod have to be laid now? Why are they planting trees in October? Why are they working all weekend? Hummmmmm let's see if we can figure this one out Sherlock! We live in a snow state, we usually have freezing weather by end of October or beginning of November, they want to lay sod, plant trees, sod grows in sunny/warm weather and goes dormant in snowy/cloudy weather,same for trees, they want to pour cement, cement splits and cracks if it is not completely dry and set before it gets hit with cold/freezing weather, It is mid-October currently, two- four weeks to the first frost/ freeze and about two weeks or so to the election. Ok now we have all our facts. Hummmmmm now let me think about this.......Wow this rockhead is right, it's because of the election... nothing to do with the weather nawwwwwwww!! Oh boy just when I thought they couldn't get any more stupid...!

I'll tell you why, because they want to pull the black cloth off the fences before election day so everyone will marvel at the beautiful exterior. (The interior is still a disaster.) Man, I wish I was working for Scartelli, raking in all that money. Could allthose TAX DOLLARS being wasted on unnecessary overtime be to help Cordaro/Munchak get re-elected? Almost as bad as Doherty's "Summer in the city" campaign.

Correct me if I'm wrong about this, but isn't about every third DD posting mentioning certain female councilmembers "being on their knees"? Also, I thought DD was the home of the 'First Amendment Comandos'? When last I checked, the First Amendment covers freedom of speech and of the press. So the crew that likes to cry foul over any attempt to regulate what they say, no matter how vile & disgusting, now thinks that certain newspapers should regulate what they print. How ironic.

Life is expensive enough without backstabber McGoff as a councilman. Courtright is lucky there aren't two better choices, and I heard he's pushing Piccolino to thin the Rogan vote, that louse. If DUI/PFA Piccolino pulls a good vote, it's Courtright's handywork. He's putting the word out there not to vote for Rogan, who is our best chance of getting McGoff out. True colors are coming to the surface, and I don't like Courtright's at all. Like I said, he's damn lucky there's not two good choices or he'd be gone, too. Mr. CRF. We didn't forget Bill Fence Sitter.


Unionman is an idiot because he seems to forget that twice before in recent memory...Doherty's second term and the home rule charter (written mostly by union members, btw)...the unions were fully supporting something that failed at the polls.

I will say this though: he is right about Courtright, who, along with Gary DiBileo, share the distinction of being the only two human being in history to be medically proven to lack backbones.

Stormin Carmen ... could quite possibly have helped to insure a loss for his School Board Candidate ... anyone who read this site or DD and saw what this nut was writing ... well I don't know about all of you ... but if I thought that there was an ounce of truth in what he was saying ... I wouldn't vote for his candidate.... or any other that he was pushing to have elected.

Perhaps the way Judy brought this information to the board doesn't suit you, but the information, if it's true,relating to a public official's business is our business; and connecting the dots further down the line may be very important. Someday, someway this info may fit in to a puzzle we're trying to construct. We're talking unmarried relationships (remember Clinton and Sherwood, etc?); money...and lots of it; and a state representative who lives very high on the hog on taxpayer dollars. I say keep the light shining.

This is an easy one...'Judy...' is simply jealous. The lady in question (she's on TV I believe, but I really don't watch much local news, so I can't say that I've ever seen 'Gabby') is young and attractive, and 'Judy...' can't stand that someone is doing better than he is. My opinion? If Rep. Andrews wants to buy a home with this other individual, then who cares! More power to him.

I don't know any political acivist of pastof Joe's tenacity and desire to stay in the fight for whatever the result may be. Believe me, they know he's a factor and thathe'll be a factor tomorrow. He just won't go away and that's his beggest threat to the establishment. What do you do with a guy who just won't go away? The answer is beat him and his family up in the paper and try to demoralize him, disgust him and take the wind out of his sails. Well, it seems the sails are too strong or the wind isn't strong enough.It will be interesting to see where it all goes, that's for sure. First, I don't "hate" Joe Pilchesky...and while I can't speak for anyone else here, I'll probably guess that most other folks here don't "hate" him either, as that gives him far too much credit for doing basically nothing. As for respecting his "brazen and blunt style", my question is this: what's there to respect? Joseph Pilchesky is nothing more than an aging bully who has lost the ability to physically initimidate people, so now he resorts to the internet and the courtroom to pump up his sad little ego. Speak to someone outside the Pilchesky circle...they will probably respond by saying one of the following:

"Joe who?"
OR
"Oh, you mean that fruitcake that files all those dumb lawsuits?"
