Corbett is his own best and worst salesman. While many people hang on waiting for some good dialogue to come out of that show, we're often disappointed. Steve walks all over everyone to make "his" point. Call in, he says, then he's walks all over you before you can finish making you point. He should take the call and let the caller speak, and stop interferring with him. I've turned him often many times for that reason. Sue Henry, much calmer and more effective.

Is it that they like Sue Henry better because she seems to worship at the Alter of the Almighty Joe Pilchesky ... she agrees with them and takes their side continuously ... sure they would like her better ... Corbett is being his own person ... and that is totally unacceptable to the Cult Pilchesky! (lump lump lump) Sorry Shari I tried to give up lumping but I just can't.

Well she is probably afraid of them and what they will say to her and about her if she doesn't do what they want ... This Corbett guy seems to have somewhat of a backbone where Joe is concerned ... he's not afraid of him ... from what I read ... I must admit that I have never had the time to catch their shows ... so I couldn't tell you for sure ... all I know is what I read on DD ... and it seems to me that they are not liking this guy because he's just like Pilchesky ... isn't Joe someone who walks all over everyone to make his point ... and if you happen to disagree with him well look out ... so tell me Pilcheski worshipers ... why is it ok for Joe to do these things and well it's not ok for anyone else? I have met Steve Corbett and have been in his company a few times. Speaking from my own personal experience, what you see (hear) is what you get. He was the same way in real life as he is on the radio, steamrolling over everyone else as they speak. Just try to get a word in edgewise. He had to have the floor in every conversation and discussion. I wasn't impressed in the least. __________________ Stupid people piss me off !

Steve Corbett is related to the Corbett family that own's Minooka Subaru...I worked with one of the children of the late owner Jake Corbett (who was a friend of my father, btw), and she described Steve (then a columnist for a Wilkes-Barre paper) as being a cousin. This also makes him a relative of Judge Trish Corbett. Anyway, given the anti-Judge and anti-Irish rants on DD, it wouldn't be too surprising if he were less than thrilled with what was written on DD. I confess to listening to WILK on occasion...mainly in the early morning when I am ironing clothes for work. As I've written here before, I've been deeply disappointed with the willingness of some of the on-air talent at WILK to give serial-plaintiff Pilchesky a pass on the vile crap written on WILK...especially Sue Henry and Nancy Kman. My sense is that they like the listeners that Pilchesky brings to the fold (Fay 'Foam@theMouth' Franus calls into Nancy & Kevin regularly). Kevin Lynn and Steve Corbett seem less thrilled with the whole notion of Pilchesky...perhaps it's a case of 'Clash of the Ego-Titans' between them and our favorite serial plaintiff. __________________ Free Speech does't require a multi-paragrah disclaimer Mr. Pilchesky.
