Oh for the love of Pete! Hubbard ran crying to Joey because he received a rude letter from a citizen. Good grief if that is all it takes to ruffle his feathers he shouldn't even consider running for office. Please!!......Public officials gets so many letters like that a month they could wall paper a room with them. However, the most ironic part is that he ran to DD to whine about it. Helloooooooooo Mr. Hubbard have actually read anything over there?? They give new meaning to rude and obnoxious!! Unbelievable!

So let me get this straight, young Doug Miller is supposed to 'take it' (criticism that is) because he is on Jr Council, but Mr Hubbard gets bent over a letter to the editor or two?

Yes that is it exactly. Oh well to be fair it was 2 letters to the editor and one to his house. A signed letter mind you not an anonymous letter. What a whinner!!

I think you should try to remember the lexus of events and why Hubbard's attitude is what it is. That section of Greenridge never flooded until flood control projects upstream were completed. I believe the residents took their first flood incident in stride. After the second (and after being promised the city would come to their aid) the frustration began. It wasn't anger, just a yell for help. They were jerked around and Hubbard's attitude changed from courtesy and diplomacy to demands for help. That's where he made his mistake. No one demands anything from Chris Doherty. How dare they! The city will now purposely ignore those residents, because that's howthe little silverspooned jerkoff reacts to criticism of his poor (and department head's poor) performance. Besides, there's bigger plans for that area that involve supporters of the mayor. They want that area to flood, in the hope the residents get so fed up they want to leave. See LJC.

Lets assume everything you just wrote is true, what exactly does that have to do withHubbard whining about a letter?

My point was the ironic action of whining about critism he received in the form of a signed letter, on a website that regularly rips people (and children apart) andjustifies it by sayingthey need to "take it" because they are public figures. Well guess what..when he put himself in the public arena he became a public figure.

I was and still remain amazed at the hypocrisy of that place. Ian quite sure they will find that letter to be awful, while at the same time posting about someone's weight, clothes, rumored sexual orientation, about children and the list goes on and on. That will be perfectly fine, but let someone send a snotty letter, and that's all it was rude and snotty, why that is grounds for an uproar. So perhaps instead of trying to turn this into a Chris Doherty slam and avoiding the pointI was making, let's have your explanation of the hypocrisy we have just witnessed.

Shari I beg to differ with you but that area ... according to the Hubbards ... has been flooding for many years ... not just the past 2 flood events since the completion of the river project. I think that you need to pay a bit more attention when the Hubbards are speaking at council ... they are now frustrated after so many floods ... If I misunderstood you I sincerely apologize ... but I have a friend who lives down there and that area has been flooding since we were kids and we are no spring chickens now ...

Shari do you see what the posters here are trying to say or do you make a choice to ignore it ... Dough Miller is a young man ... a student ... and Dan Hubbard although frustrated ... with reason ... is a grown man ... it's ok to slam young Doug Miller ... but lets not pick on a flood victim ... that is pretty much what you are saying .... Right?
