Not that I just noticed ... but hell ... when are these people going to stop relying on Joe Pilchesky do fight their battles ... when are they going to kick in and help him pay the fees ... Oh that's right ... he receives Tens of Thousands of Dollars to help him out but he can't accept it. So he sends it all back (yeah right)

BTW, prisoners who refuse to go to the recycling center go to the hole. I can produce the prisoners who preferred the hole. Also, what comes back into the prison from the recycling center is another issue. Like I said Pilchesky,

You should consider renting that crystal ball. Cordaro would benefit from it. I'm on it like white on snow. Gimme a week to collect some info and in it goes in the nature of Declaratory Judgment and Request for Injunctive Relief. I'll tell you what, you have to give them credit, like E-lax, they do their best work at night. I'm sure the lawsuit will be warmly greeted by Mr. Cordaro. By the end of July, a condo on the economically challenged side of Singapore will start looking good to Bob. He'll be happy to be anywhere I'm not, although I've never been to Singapore.



Hell Joe we will pitch in and send you to Singapore if you promise to never come back!

I just don't for the life of me know why you won't let them help you out financially ... oh well ... I'm not going to worry about that ...

To be honest, I have been looking into the recycling center over the past few weeks. Here's what I found out so far:

1. A private individual uses prison labor to make a profit. The county may own the facility, but since it is privately managed for a profit and the county only receives a straight rental payment, it cannot be considered "county-run".

2. The county controller has no record of ANY PAYMENT from Lackawanna Recycling, Inc. for 2005, 2006, or 2007.

3. The company can deduct certain company expenses off its monthly tally. So if its equipment goes down, the county technically pays for it.

This appears to be a plantation-like operation.

Classic example what's wrong with Pilchesky's DD world.

What's needed here isn't a bunch of 'DeNaples is a Mob Boss' postings (trust me...that's what this will degrade into) and more honest conversation about how the place is run. You get the impression that some folks would blame Louis DeNaples for a rainy day if they could away with it.

As for the center itself, it would not surprise me if there is no record of payments from the center over the past few years...either because there really was no payment made OR because the book-keeping at a county level is so poor that records don't exist. Yes, I think financial management at the county level is that bad. Either way it smells fishy and an audit should be conducted. Yes, what's needed here is a small group of well equipped nerdy accountants...not threats of lawsuits from an angry old man and his group of toadies (but then an audit wouldn't do that much to pump up the Pilchesky ego).

I understand what you are saying ... and I have no doubt that you are right Glenn ... but the question here is ... Why does Joe Pilchesky have to Champion every cause?

I think that he is a puppet ... now that is just my opinion ...

I wouldn't use the word 'puppet'. The old man is certainly backed by someone or a few someones who have the money and are in the know in a courtroom. He gets his information from the losers that post at dd and he has a few people who are fluent enough in legaleze to weave that bull$hit into a lawsuit.

He may be someone's 'pansy' but he's no puppet.
