It's 4:40 on Monday afternoon, a full weekend after when Joe said he'd be filing the lawsuit against Gatelli. Being a reasonable man, I'll accept the excuse that the courthouse was closed on Friday and not give Joe any crap about it.
Let's do this the easy way. Let's have an EVERYTHING TO COME OUT party live on Channel 61. Gloves off. That should not be hard to arrange. blah ... blah ... blah ... without having to spend any taxpayer money on legal fees or court costs, and thereby saving the court the fatigue of seeing a grown man cry in a courtroom. I say let's allot a full day on Channel 61, 8 straight hours, of nothing but debate on blah ... blah ... blah ... has regarding the same.
Let's do it. And, THE DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION. Doherty can line the walls with all his lawyers or anyone else he pleases. I will appear alone, but with plenty of documents. I'll even give them complete immunity from anything they say about me on any topic, and in writing. I will put this offer in letter form right now and mail it to the mayor. They are their own worst enemies, and I got the distinct impression in today's Scranton Times that Doherty sees that, as he now appears to be egging them on. Probably not a bad idea, as wipping the DD crew up into a lather will no doubt bring out even more nuggets of insanity.
