Breaking news: Tonight's council meeting limited to 55 people; Evans to hold press conference

As of the posting at 1:57, "Regular Council speaker Fay Franus is already standing on line to enter for tonight's meeting."

Congratulations Janet and Joe, for single handedly bringing city government to a stop. What better way to stop percieved corruption than to make sure nobody gets ANYTHING done.

You all really just need to move. Form your own little city, far away from the rest of us who are sick of your God Damn grandstanding. What a bunch of whiny little pussies you all are. furious

Limited to 55 people - it's going to be like scene from "Thunderdome," mass rioting, complete chaos. Janet will whip the crowd into a frenzy, then they'll kill each other rushing the rear of the building to be first in line.

(...crowd goes wild...they all storm up the steps and are brought to a halt by the kindly old janitor who reminds them that they have to enter the building from the rear and that the doors won't open for another 30 minutes...crowd slowly and quietly walks back down steps, lighting cigarettes and wondering outloud if they'll have time to grab a coffee before the doors open...)

My husband was there waiting in line when the television cameras did their broadcasts at five o'clock. I called him on his cell and told him to hand his phone to Les Spindler so I could tell him to 1.) roll that sign up reeeel tight and jam it up his arse, and 2) get up here quick because my husband wasn't home.

The husband wouldn't do it, dammit.

I'm reminded of an old Bill Cosby routine, where he tells the story of his college football team at halftime one game. Temple's getting destroyed, like 63-0 or something, and the team's had it. The coachstarts to give his pep talk, all rah-rah, kill, fight, win, everything he can think of to psych the guys up. It works! The players are all whooping and hollering and yelling and the coach sreams "What are we gonna do?"

"Win!" yell the players, getting wound up. "What are we going to do?" he cries out again.

"Fight!" they scream. "WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO??" asks the coach, even louder still.

"KILL!!!!!!"cry outthe players, totally whipped up into a frenzy, running around, yelling, screaming, chanting, "Kill! Fight! Win!"

"Okay, boys, lets go get' em!" coach bellows in his best war cry, and the players respond with their own war cry and they all run toward the locker room door....















...which is locked.

I drove by city hall around 3PM and yup there fay was with her folding chair sitting in the alley. It was a nice day, had the windows down and more than one person had things to yell out the window at her.I thought I was just thinking it ,but I guess it came out.The other 2 people must have had the samething happen. I guess she brings out the worst in people. Just a side note, she has been this way for a long time, as I understand even years ago when she worked at a grocery store in westside.
