Which one is lying? Normally I'd say Joe, but this one stunks like Janet. Better be careful Cruella, Joe doesn't like people ignoring him.

From today's paper:

Mrs. Evans denied any affiliation with Mr. Pilchesky and said she has never posted on his Web site.

“I barely know Mr. Pilchesky,” she said, although she admitted inviting him to dinner last year to discuss the city’s budget.

Mr. Pilchesky, however, acknowledged he has met often with Mrs. Evans to discuss city issues.

“We’ve discussed the budget, the borrowing plans and other city business,” he said. “Mrs. Evans has been gracious enough to host my wife and I at her home.”

Even Gary DiBileo, a former council president and an Evans ally when he was on council, acknowledged ties between Mrs. Evans and Mr. Pilchesky. He witnessed “one or two” meetings between Mrs. Evans and Mr. Pilchesky as far back as 2005, he said.

Former City Clerk Jay Saunders said Mrs. Evans and Mr. Pilchesky “do indeed know each other and have often worked together.”



There it is folks; Joe, Gary, and Jay all say that Joe and Janet have met more than once. What gives Ms DeVille? Embarrasses at the company you keep? Spineless? Afraid you're in trouble? I sense a disturbance in the force...trouble could be brewing and the most unholy of alliances could be cracking. Stay tuned.

I said it in the other thread, Janet has finally begun to see that Joe is a political liability, and trying (rather clumsily) to distance herself from him.

Joe's outlived his "usefulness" so Janet will drop him like a bad habit. Her fan club's going to have a hell of a hard time distinguishing between the Judas they think Gatelli is, or the Judas in the blonde wig who is betraying her friend and ally, just for a vote.

If she gets even 10,000 votes for the rest of her career (which is just about over), I'd be suprised. She's alienated way too many people along the way.

That, and she sucks.

I can see it now. Give it a little time and they will be squawking across the hall about Janet as if she had a tail. Say no to them once; deny them just once and they will turn on you like a pack of rabid dogs on your heels. Watch it Janet, Fay hasn't been successful in getting her choppers on to Judy's leg yet -- looks like you just might be next if you keep up these antics.

That could be inferred...but let me be direct:

Janet Evans Sucks.

...she has lied about multiple contacts with serial-plaintiff Joe Pilchesky.
...we STRONGLY suspect that she posts anonymously at the DD board.
...she is engaging in an open-ended witch hunt against the Mayor.
...instead of actually TALKING to the Mayor about the very real issues facing Scranton, she runs up to his office with the Legion in tow just to create a scene (Hey Janet...when someone wants to meet with lowly Agamemnon at work, they schedule time...why would it be different between you and the Mayor????)
...she tolerates and encourages, through action and inaction, blatant personal attacks on other elected officials.
...she grandstands repeatedly at each meeting.

I could go on...

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Janet Evans sucks. Hmmmm...sounds about right. It's got a nice ring to it.

I wonder if she's ever considered not sucking? She's quite good at sucking though and not sucking may be a real reach for her. Who knows, maybe she'll look to expand her horizons and try it.

I don't know if this is the right place for this post or not ... but I have it on very good athourity that this particular poster (flower child) is none other than the Queen of DD herself .... Janet (you suck) Evans ... now that she is betraying Pilchesky ... do they still see her as the queen .... I wonder.  Here are a few examples of the posts of Flower Child ... is she or is she not Janet  (you suck) Evans... what do you all think?

Gatelli and PEL are as usless as the "voted on" recovery plan.  Doherty's past 5 budgets have violated the plan, rendering it null and void.  Pel refuses to address the situation. Gatelli refuses to do anything for the betterment of the citizens of Scranton. Doherty, Gatelli and PEL will not push the "non profit ...cough cough" U of S. The board of directors on these boards might have to take a pay cut from their $500,000 a year salary.

Is there anything we, as tax payers and private citizens can do today to help those people down there?  How much does it cost to rent a front end loader?  Can we help ourselves to the puplic dirt pile near the lace company and put it on the river bank?  It has become painfully clear that we cannot count on Doherty and Parker to protect the citizens of Scranton.  If need be I have a shovel and a pretty good back.  What is administration is allowing to happen is a crime.

Anti, don't blame the police officer or the system.  This society is in a state of decline because of people like you, who fail to put responsibility where it belongs. These "children" aimed a weapon at a police officer and shot him for THE THRILL!  Would you be so kind if they targetted you?  They are lucky they didn't get shot.  Who bought them the paint guns and who let them out of the house with the guns, without adult supervision? Stop this boo hoo mentality.

anti...let me get this straight.  Because these children may not be ero-american, no charges should be filed?  Because the live in the hill they must be of Africa or Latin dissent?  Because they live in the hill they are poor?  SO now tell me anti do you know these kids or are you just assuming?  I am sick of hear "oh it's because they're not white."  WRONG! The people in this country better wake up, it is all about the color GREEN.  From Iraq to New Orleans to here in Scranton.  If you have the green you matter more and get special treatment.  The wealthy of this country are keeping themselves in the green by feeding the impoverished the lie that it is about race.  Poor blacks hate the whites for keeping them down and latinos for taking their jobs.  Poor whites hate the blacks and latinos for getting special hand outs because of their race.  When in fact that 90% of the money in the US is controlled by less than 10% of the population.

Once again PEL has it wrong!

Look out Dunmore, Moosic, Taylor, roaring Brook and Dickson City;  here comes Scranton and PEL.  Why would PEL want to spread the disease of fiscal mismanagement to healthy municipalities?  PEL wants stonger legislation to beat up on the service workers of the cities and the tax payers.  I am amazed daily by their STUPIDITY.  If PEL and Mayor Chris Doherty followed the rules of distressed city, Scranton would be in better shape.  Mayor James Connors was forced to follow those rules and when he left office he gifted the Doherty Adminitration a surplus of OVER 300,000 dollars.  Mayor Doherty AND PEL have been allowed to mismanage Scranton into a 300 million dollar debt.  Now they want Scranton's neighbors to pay for it? 
     Not one of Mayor Doherty's budgets have been in the range of what PEL has projected, yet PEL and the state of Pennsylvania allow this to go unchecked.  Doherty's 2007 budget is 20 million dollars over PEL's projection.
  PEL's answer is to raise taxes and cut services.  In a restaurant you do not cut you wait staff  or raise your prices because you friend wants a management job.  A city is in the service industry and must provide quality service at a fair price or the customers will go else where.
     PEL is incompetent and should be fired.  How many years of failure does it take before the state of Pennsylvania realizes PEL is a bunch of idiots?
This isn't rocket science folks just common sense.
PEL and Doherty must go.

Someone mentioned to me yesterday that they also thought the above poster from across the hall was none other than Miss Clairol. I just don't see it - it doesn't read like her - not even the even with the camoflaged misspellings and gramatical errors.

Sounds like her typical schpiel, but doesn't have her pseudo-intellect (she would never want to be seen/heard without it).
