I don't know how to transfer a post from DD BUT this poster will for sure get banned.(like I have been 6 times) check it out, from WHATARETHEYHIDING. He or she bashes Their beloved Janet, better find it quick before Joe erases it.

Council Meetings Like Girls Gone Wild


I don't agree with this administration on many things, but does acting like a bunch of idiots really solve anything? Seeing the group of morons dressed in "legion of doom" t-shirts just reinforce's my belief that most of the crowd is there for the cameras'. There are a few people like Mary Ann Wardell that speak well and make good points but, they end up being overshadowed by these silly antics. I'm probably going to be slaughtered for saying this but, Janet Evans does not help this situation out at all. I wouldn't be shocked if she pulled up to city hall and in a move straight out of the Barnum and Bailey playbook, 15 people hopped out of her car and headed to council chambers. She is the ringleader of this ridiculous circus and many people, even Doherty's detractors are fed up with this sideshow. Janet Evans is more concerned with Janet Evans and in pimplike fashion is exploiting you all for her own benefit.

Thanks IHAVE, I was reading under TOPIC --MY THOUGHT ON CHRISTOPHER KELLYS EDITORIAL. at the very bottom, if it's still there. I like most of you can't stand to even begin to listen to the MOUTH THAT ROARED.

He absolutely nailed that article.  I could not agree with him more.  Janet is a phony and encourages her small cult following (Legion of Doom) to cause chaos during the meetings.  When you view chaos as an accomplishment, you are not a good leader.

My thought on Christopher Kelly's editorial.

I have to agree with him on this one.  These council meeting are far from business like anymore.  They are actually worst then the Throop meetings used to be.  We need people like Andy Sparaglia ( sorry if it is misspelled), he is a no nonsense person who's only concern is the finances of the city.  Also, please somebody tell these people with those legion of doom shirts to knock it off!  It is embrassing watching this, and I am on their side.  There has to be a better way.  There are speakers at those meetings that should not be speaking.  Their shinanigans only distract from the important things.

Speaking of good leadership traits, any politician with experience knows that compromise is part of success. Not so for Janet “no compromises” Evans, so she gets nada on the subpoena issue. However when you consider the bigger picture she is successful if her goal is to make the accusations, get her conspiracy published and never back it all up. Additionally the DD superhero gets to blame the "Doherty Three" for blocking her plan to expose crime.

Ms Evans clearly knows her audience, and she is playing it to the hilt for them.  The only problem is that she confuses the LoD Thursday Springer Show with the average Scrantonian.  Newsflash:  Most Scrantonians that I know see through the Bull$hit.

Most people sadly look at at the Thursday night Council Meetings as entertainment ... they don't tune in to learn how government works ... they tune in to see what this bunch of Mental Intstitution escapees are going to do next ... I don't care if they get insulted when people call them names ... when they are making it all the way to YouTube and gaining celebrity status for thier idiotic behavior and they they have to figure out what they can do next to get yet another YouTube spot well I find that they are hindering our local government ... Ray Lyman is only acting out like this now so that they will put another YouTube clip on the net ... he's a celebrity of sorts now ... there are very few speakers who even make any sense now ... they are there to be on channel 61 ... they must have bets on who can be the most disrespectful and rude ... because each one out shines the one before.

Ramble Ramble ... blah blah ... I could go on and on but I won't.

Yes you are right,people are there just to be on TV. Remember when chambers was being remodeled, there was no LIVE TV just taped. The number of speakers dropped to maybe 10 people. So tell me again why most of these nuts are there.

What's Joe hiding ??? Well, I'll tell ya'. He'll be hiding his tiny little johnson. You'll find it gently tucked between his legs in an attempt to cushion the boys.

I just heard on the radio there are going to two officers at the meeting tonight to maintain order. During the melee, someone is bound to aim a roundhouse straight for Joe's nads. Set your TiVo folks - tonight's meeting will be a keeper.
