What the hell is this ... I see it often at DD ... Topic edited for clarity ... how does Joe know what this poster means unless of course ... this poster is Joe ... I find it odd that he edits some posts for clarity ... and yet he lets Granma out there flapping in the breeze.
It's hardly fair that he lets the old woman appear to be the idiot that she is and will edit others for clarity!

O'Brien as Pres of Sudent Government at Penn State was a failure

When O'Brien was President of Student government at Penn State back in 1995 why did the Student Senate get so angry and aggravated at him that they wanted to impeach him? Could it be that the promises he made went unfulfilled. As President he got free tuition and a 5k stipend. After getting elected he flew off to Europe for three weeks instead of building his government. Yeah okay it's students-it's a hothouse --some things get thrown out of perspective BUT he ran for the job-got elected-began hobnobbing with a member of the Board of Ttrustess with whom he was supposed to negotiate on behalf of students and was offered a job by said Trustee at a company the trustee retired from. Negotiations went away. The Penn State Collegian has the dates and places. After a mere three months in office, Mr. O'Brien(who confessed to wanting to follow Joe McDade----to Congress, not Florida), he was discouraged and thought student government was beyond saving. Couldn't take the heat then, can he now? Who is is patron--oh wait we know that one.

She used to type 'opion' because she's a little (well, YOU know). But now, she types 'opion' because she's even more (well YOU know) than before.

Oh, that and the fact that she's an avid reader of our board and knows that her o-p-i-n-i-o-n doesn't matter even a little bit over here. It's funny how she found her quotation (") marks so she can highlite just how "duhr" she really is.

It does say something Pilchesky doesn't edit Granma's postings. I wonder why? Possible reasons include:

1. He finds them just as humorous as we do
2. He doesn't read them
3. It's too much work to edit her postings, even for a medical-legal-political-moral-firefighting-crimefighting expert such as Joe Pilchesky

Regardless, he is making a point by his (lack of) action...even if he doesn't intend to.

I'm sorry Joe ... you do edit Granma ... or is it that you have only begun this practice because we at Pilchesky Deceit have pointed out that you do not edit this poor woman to make her appear more intelligent than she actually is?  I think that's why you started editing her ... Our thread began on March 9, 2007 and you began editing Granma on March 11, 2007 ... You really should have started doing this sooner Joe.   She does deserve the same treatment that you give the rest of your posters and I am quite proud that you finally realize that Joe! 
Good Job Guys and Gals of PD ... we are making a difference at DD.

The cheap seats have NOW become the expensive seats. That is where the TAXpayers sit. And, I don't call our seats cheap by any means. When a speaker gets to the podium and TRIES to tell their thoughts, if it is not liked by Judy she stops them right in the middle of their sentence. And they cannot continue on. Because, she will keep saying you can't talk like that here. Or words to that effect. Then, Minora yells in his IGNORANT voice, TIME'S UP !! Hey, if this is a council, disband and have none at all. There are only two people on the council that really care. Janet and Bill. They can't do much with the 3/2 vote. No matter how hard they try. As far as the other three, they are only there to vote what Doherty wants. They are being used as we are (different way) same effect. They are too stupid to realize. They are supposed to be our governing body. SUPPOSED, But WHAT do they really do? Nothing for the citizens, only for Doherty. He throws them some chips now and then. They are so traumatized by him they are happy to get them, and will do whatever he throws at them. Like a kid with a treat. I cannot understand how three supposed to be adults will let someone drag them around by the nose. And that is what Doherty is doing. I agree with Joe and Dave, let it out guys. As far a Robert's rules, maybe if council abides by them we might have a decent meeting. And then the expensive seat people could have THEIR say. I don't think in Robert's rules it says the council members can belittle the speakers. The speakers should go by Robert's rule, while ~ the council three does thier own rules. Can't have it both ways. I feel there are going to be alot more speakers from the back of the chambers. Certainly you can't speak at the podium. GOOD Job Joe and Dave. I love you guys, and go with everything you say or do. You two men make sense. To bad our council three didn't have at least a forth of your knowledge AND MANNERS ! !

There are other problems with this particular post however ... and that is simply this ... do not put other's down for what your Queen (Janet Evans) does herself!  She also gets up when speakers are addressing issues ... this is a fact!  So this should also be posted under the HELLO POT ... THIS IS KETTLE thread! But I won't do that ... I'll conserve space!
You should  hold everyone to the same standards or keep your mouths shut ... what is considered rude for one council member should be considered rude for all ... So until Janet Evans keeps her A$$ in her seat for the entire evening and listens to the complaints of every citizen then do not criticize any other for excusing themselves for a moment.  Or are there special rules for your Queen?

He should be livid with himself, and no one else.  He's right where he put himself, and no one else put him there.  I'd hate to see such a contender go down on a technicality, but the rules weren't made to be broken.  Others have been removed for the same thing.  This being Lackawanna County, the national home for corruption, we'll see a judge give me a stern warning and leave him on the ballot.  The judge will make it look good, but as we breathe, the fix is in.  Unless, and it's a huge unless, Louie wants it different.  Remember who worked for Louie's land fill and whose father still works for him, Corey O'Brien.   Bob Cordaro might be able to tell you what tree you can pick an apple from, but never forget who owns the orchard.
