Well I saw Judy at the West Scranton Graduation ... I was there and I saw her ...

Serial-plaintiff Joe Pilchesky is utterly pathetic. What's next, a bounty on the head of Fay 'Foam @ Mouth' Franus? Besides, now is not the time for Janet Evans to be publically outed as a poster at DD...that time will come about a month or so before the next mayoral election.

Funny how all the bad things are Mrs. Gatelli's fault and all the good things are as a result of Missey jan. I wonder why? As far asI know they both sit on council. I never see her vote no when Mrs Gatelli calls for an adjournment or say anything when someone gets rulled out of order. She doesn't jump in to help the little kooks. I did not see her do anything about the snow did you? Doesn't she have an equal obligation to help out the citizens? What exactly did she do in the last snow storm? What exactly does she do period? I defy anyone form the goons squad to show one postive thing this women has gotten done while on City Council. Show me the legislation she has been able to propose and pass. Oh and don't give me the BS that no one will pass her legislation because the sign of a good legislator is the ability to get along with your counterparts in order to get legislation passed. If you don't have that skill then you don't belong in the seat.

RE: "This is your Life, Judy Gatelli", and it's open season on your character. Complaints about snow still dogging city DPW By Michael Sadowski and Rich Mates 01/10/2002Email to a friendPrinter-friendlyFor 50 years, Judy Gatelli has lived in Scranton's South Side. In that time, she has never been blocked from her home. Until Tuesday. As she tried to maneuver her vehicle to her house at 709 Connell St., the snow and ice on her street and other neighborhood roads was just too much, so she pulled over and parked two blocks away from her home."I've never had to do that in all my time in this neighborhood," she said. "These streets haven't been touched by the city. This is outrageous."The plight of Ms. Gatelli, the president of the South Side Residents Association, is similar to many around the city. Many side streets in Scranton remain unplowed, and Wednesday's early morning freezing rain did not help the situation.Lackawanna County Communication Center personnel said there were several spinouts on Interstate 380 in the Moscow area, and an accident on Winola Road and Electric Street in Clarks Summit. The slippery conditions are also affecting deliveries by Meals on Wheels, especially in South Scranton and Dunmore, executive director Linda Steier said. The agency is asking anyone with a four-wheel-drive vehicle to volunteer to bring meals to its clients. They can do so by calling Elaine Barrasse at 346-2421.But for the already snowed-in streets, the sleet made the roads all that more slippery."So now, not only is there a foot of snow on the road, but there is ice on top of it from the sleet," Ms. Gatelli said. And the answers residents are getting from the Department of Public Works are not satisfying."First, (the DPW telephone) was busy all day Monday," Ms. Gatelli said. "When I finally got through on Tuesday, they said they would be up. They haven't been here yet."In Ms. Gatelli's neighborhood, Connell, Saginaw, Duncan, Campbell and O'Hara streets had not been plowed as of Wednesday evening, she said.Ms. Gatelli turned to the mayor's office but said she also found no help there."I don't think this is the way to start an administration," she said. "I hope this gets taken care of very, very soon."New DPW director George Parker said late Wednesday night he hopes all the city streets will be plowed by Thursday. He said he has permission from Mayor Chris Doherty to lease plow trucks if necessary, but he hopes to be able to avoid that measure."Hopefully, the weather (Thursday) will help us melt some of this snow," he said. "We'll have more equipment and more workers on the road (Thursday) and I hope it all gets done."The Times-Tribune2007

RE: "This is your Life, Judy Gatelli", and it's open season on your character. Residents: Paving is long overdue and very welcome By Andrew M. Seder 06/13/2003Email to a friendPrinter-friendlyAn old, rusty, red pickup truck meanders along Kane Street in South Scranton. Zigzagging from one side of the street to the other, the truck driver is trying to miss potholes. His reactions aren't quick enough. The right front tire catches a hole filled with rainwater. The truck shakes but continues.A line of vehicles soon follows suit but with other cars coming on the other side, the drivers must grin and bear the bumps. They seem to catch each and every rough spot on the stretch near St. Vladimir Cemetery.Neighborhood association members throughout the city agree that Mayor Chris Doherty's $8 million, four-year paving project is a sign the city is headed in the right direction. However, those same members say the streets should have been maintained all along. As motorists drive down East Gibson Street in the Hill Section, shocks and struts are put to the test. Ditto for other roads, from Oram Street in the city's North End, to Sanderson Avenue and Delaware Street in Green Ridge, to Saginaw Street in South Scranton."It's like driving on a washboard. It's just bumpy and there's so many potholes," said Judy Gatelli, of the South Scranton Residents Association. "It was an absolute necessity. (The mayor) didn't have a choice. It's something he had to do."Trash collection, taxes and street maintenance are the most important things to residents of Scranton, Ms. Gatelli said.
Way to try and cut Bill's balls off dumbblonde. That will probablyhelp in your bid to be the ruling princess. He needs to spit on her. (figuratively speaking of course)

RE: JUDY IN ALL SERIOUSNESS.... ...and when Bill couldn'tamiablysatisfythe confrontation with Lee, Janet stepped right in and diffused the situation. Dialogue between council and speaker. Priceless.
RE: Sam Pitilla charged with obstruction of a public meeting At the last meeting (6/7/07), speaker Julie Jones stated that she has lived in the vicinity where Sam now resides (same intersection)for the past 12years and she has never ever once seen a cop car watching the intersection.
Gee, where to start with this post....well First of all I thought the cop was on a bike..... I guess that she does not work either since for 12 years she has watched that intersection......and not once saw a cop, I guess she was watching for them too....Julie also worked on Jan's campaign feverishly I may add, so has she been filling Sam in on what he has missed the past 6 years, since Mayor Doughtery has been in office, I guess so, they must have tea and crimpets together and discuss local politics....I wonder if Sam knows that Julie's husband has a political job for the county?Inguiring minds want to know....that's enough for now....
Anyone starting to notice a trend here......All counci speakers can directly be connected with Miss Jan is some way, shape or form, but if she was asked I guess she would not remember her either, way to care about the PEOPLE of the city.
Isn't this intersection (S Webster and Genet) and the one a block North (S Webster and Pear) located just below Valley View Terrace -- and further up on Webster, Hilltop and Skyview? I have to say that I have travelled South Webster Avenue all my life to visit family in that vicinity and there have always been police cars driving through that area. Frankly it was rare that you didn't see a police car - whether it was marked or unmarked.
Now Sam, seeing as he only has been living here for a few months might not know that. But with those three projects located up there, there are always police cars being called into that area. It's pretty convenient how the number of people across the hall who are constantly going on and on about what they hear on their scanners, have no recollection of any police calls to any of these three projects. For the police to get to these projects, S. Webster is on the way - granted, it's not the only way, but it is a main thoroughfare up to the projects. Miss Jones should know that, but she might already be accustomed to the sirens as an everyday occurance and might just tune them out by now.
Even though sharilewis and SHED (bo peep and milo) insist that NotADumbBlonde isn't St. Janet, isn't it odd that NotADumbBlonde is all of a sudden posting on DD all day now that school is out for the summer?

also take notice of the perfect spelling and grammer being used by Granma now. She used to have spelling errors and all kinds of strange punctuation all over the place. Now she is literate and spells opionion correctly.
Sweetheart the amount of things your bleached blond little head has no idea about would fill several volumes of books. We are quite used to that fact, so no worries and no apologies needed. I couldn't resist.
Wow I may have to re-evaluate my impression of this one also. Maybe if you post at DD. long enough it sucks the brain out of your head and replaces it with rocks. This is one is also starting to sound like a rockhead (roundhead or stupid for granma I know new words confuse you.).
Oh duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ya it means: Connell Park pool will not be opened this year because the cost of renovations is way too high!
Yikes! Next time they talk on WILK maybe they can use less confusing words for you. Maybe something like this: Pool is closed. Pool is not open. Pool is old. Pool has a boo boo. Pool has no money. No money boo boo no get fixed. Better dingbat?
You should be more ashamed of posting under a thread that asks someone to kill another human being. Better hope Shari is right and this doesn't turn out to be the princess. Posts about killing people probably won't go over big with the voters. NO?
I'll take that bet Paul. I hear it will not open this year, considering who uses it. You know, all the riff raff from the 3 housing projects that don't usually vote or donate to their favorite mayor. Money is tight and Doherty has bled about every source of income available. Money will only be spent where it counts. Where he can make a "return" on it, if you know what I mean.

I don't consider people to be riff raff who live in a housing project why do you call them that? I don't think you should refer to people like that Sheri.
I grew up in Midtown Apartments (615 Adams Avenue, for the record). Does that make me 'riff raff', or have I graduated to 'prior riff raff' status, now that I am a property owner? Just wondering.

Well there you go Anti say's it all taken care of and since Paul didn't convince you maybe this kook will?? Feel better now? I for one belived Paul. Naturally the kooks next door have to jump to conclusions before they gain all of the information necessary to understand any issue. I suppose picking up the phone and just asking someone never occured to the dumblonde?
I didn't call them riff raff, I was simply facetiously using the words of the brilliant and Doherty appointee Tony Marinucci. He used those words when trying to defend the pool fees at Nay Aug pool. He said, at a televised Recreation Authority meeting, the pool fees were enacted "to keep the riff raff out". He said it and it's been fodder at DD for over a year.
Excuse me, but wasn't it one of the senior lifeguards at Novembrino who used that term after someone threw a firecracker at her head? I am not saying Tony Marinucci did not use the term, but I am sure the $hit hit the fan after the lifeguard at Novembrino was practically maimed by some wiseass kid.
Well any person who would do that (and now that you mention itI do sort of remember that event) is rif raff, however to make a general tag of all wasn't too bright on that guy's part. The kid with the firecracker needstheir backside paddled and a long stay in their room under heavy restrictions.
With all due respect, I think the most recent postings under this thread are out of place, so as a service to the board at large, I want to remind everyone that Janet Evans does, in fact, suck.
She sucks because she is an opportunist
She sucks because she points fingers at others who have relatives employed in government while ignorning the circumstances surrounding her own hiring
She sucks because she lends assistance Joe Pilchesky, a man who enjoys harming the innocent families of elected officials
She sucks because she is an ineffective English teacher at Scranton High School (this is my very well informed opinion)
She sucks because we strongly believe she is actively posting at DD
She sucks because she has used a home email address for city business, which conveniently prevents citizens from ever knowing who she is corresponding with on official business (no '@scranton.gov' address for Janet); this also provides a convenient out for claiming not to have received emails from people she does not like
She sucks because she claims to be a different voice in City Hall, but in reality she represents the same old 'pandering to the crowd' nonsense that back-slapping politicians have been up to for decades in Scranton

Paul, I never realized the reasoning behind her email address. I wouldn't put that past her though. God, I can't wait until she makes a slip and gets exposed for the conniving and opportunistic hag she really is.
