Anyone notice the comment "she has set women back 100 years" acredited to the Clariol Queen about Mrs. Gatelli in today's commentary section of the times?
Funny I remember Dumblo from across the hall saying the same thing on a few occasions in just the same way.......hummmmmmmmm.
Oh well I am sure the Clariol Queen neither reads or posts over there (not to mention havingany knowledge of Joey either... well... except for that dinner at her house thing) so it's probably one those weird coincidents...ya that must be it!! :)))

I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... Joe Pilchesky is not a lawyer ... he's just a guy playing a lawyer on the internet. Please don't trust your legal needs to this man.
RE: Kevin Murphy speaks!! ...Oh and by the way I support you 150% but I'm not voting for you because I don't want your wacky husband controlling you in city hall. Believe me or not this comment was put out there many time her last mayoral run...
I don't recall her ever running for mayor before ... do any of you? But I have to agree with Sarge ... Her wacky husband is quite a liability for Ms Evans ... not that I would vote for her with or without him ... but I am sure that there are some that would if she didn't have that loser trailing behind her everywhere she goes!

I hope the hell after the meeting adjourned last week that Bob McGoff gave the Blonde Bomber a verbal backhand in response to the bitchslap she gave him at the last council meeting.
What's next, janet? You gonna snarl and snap at your leash the next time someone asks you to pipe down and wait your turn? She's just got to hear her own voice and have the last word. She fights like a girl, that one.
If you think about it, there is probably quite the entitlement mentality at work in the Evans cranium. I'm sure she felt slighted when she lost the State Rep election; afterall, she was "for the people", so how could they turn their back on her?
That same sort of thinking is probably weighing heavily in her thoughts about the mayoral election. Losing to Chris Doherty would be crushing to her ego. The great part? The more rabid the DD/LoD crowd comes out for her, the worse she will end up losing. Scranton residents instictively know that city workers, while having honest grievances with the city, are not "oppressed" & they realize that not allowing the municipal unions to run the city is a good thing.
Go for it Janet!! Oh, and please, please, please make Chris your campaign manager. Oh, and don't forget David...he needs to be by your side at all times, to protect you from evil green volvo driving ICN spies.
PS - I would love to ask Ms Evans in a public forum her thoughts on the "Evil ICN". Her reaction? She would probably just stammer, ignore my question or send Davey over to "rough me up".

No but the resemblance is uncanny isn't it?? That is Matt Frewer. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001242/ Remember my earlier comment about the movie "The Stand" by Stephen King? LOL LOL
Anyone think (as I do) that the clairol queen is howling at this weeks meeting to take attention away from the recent news article that indicates her peroxide stained fingers maybe in the Gilbride/Williams/McDonald covert document retrieval debacle?
Dammit, I ddin't get to see the meeting this week. I wonder if the minutes will be posted lickety split if they're not shining a rose-colored light on the blonde bomber.
Interestingly enough, NDB hasn't posted the minutes yet. Maybe she's tied up with other things.
Anyway, I watched most of the meeting's citizen's participation (worth watching...note the veins in Ozzie's head getting ready to explode...Les sounded like a whiny 12 year old girl...there is crime on Parrott Avenue...Ellman has $100 water bills) and Ms Evans motions. She took twenty minutes to say "Represenatives for the STO need to meet with us"...which, by the way, I think they should. As a stretch goal for the next meeting, maybe she could get that point acorss in something under ten minutes.
By the way, I often see Ms Evans car in the parking lot at SHS while waiting for my daughters. Very, very nice vehicle. If Mayor Doherty drove anything like that the clowns next door would never stop with the "class warfare" comments.

Deleware nailed it. Gary is a nice guy, but that's where his attraction stops in its tracks. If I owned a hospital and Gary was a doctor working there, I'd pay him to stay home. That's how you save lives with a man like Gary. Let's say it like it is, you don't get a belly like that because you're Mr. Get Up and Go. His 'get up and go' - 'got up and went'. He's been MIA since losing the mayors race, while the cityhas beenmired in on-going trouble. No leadership there. No real man there. No fighter there, and that's what we're going to need. The best real man for the job is Janet Evans.End of story. She's a warm, sensitive and charming person on theoutside capable of handling adversity with a smile, but she's also a strong, highly intelligent, educated, moral and ethical woman with a backbone who doesn't get pushed around like Mr. Softie did.
Yes, I agree...Janet Evans is a real man. Good job there Joanne...oh, I mean Blonde....or whomever you are.

It's not that she has the testicular fortitude for the job, it's just that she knows how to hook up a vcr and scratch her fuzzy arse at the same time. Dave's got nothing on her. Hell, I've got a plumber with less butt-crack
I am not sure why this would be an issue.. currently she is neither :))

She'd probably run if enough people asked her to, but like another poster put it, she's finishing off her last years with the school district and she'll have a tidy retirement package. At that point, she puts life on cruise control. She can't be a teacher and mayor at the same time.
Pure political suicide to announce this early for any sitting public office holder, except the mayor for the following reasons:
1. Doherty, as incumbent, is always running for office; 2. The Lynetts won't hurt him, although they may not try to help him as much as they have in the past with their silence. 3. Evans would be targeted for using every issue as a political football if she announced this early. 4. Anyone the Lynetts don't like have to keep their intentions to themselves for as long as possible. 5. What, may I ask, would be the benefit of announcing this early unless you intended to actually campaign the entire time?
1. Evans the fraud is always campaigning for office. You watch the meetings on Tuesday. 2. Your point? 3. She's targeted for this NOW! What difference would her actually announcing make? 4. And yet, you open your mouth as often as possible. Ironic. 5. And what, may I ask, would be the benefit of holding a "fundraiser" two years out unless you intended to campaign the entire time?
Joe, your woman is a joke. She barely gets into triple digits in any election going forward. She should just resign and tend to her garden or something. She's a lousy teacher, a worse councilwoman, and a failure as a representative of anybody, including herself.
