The Queen on Tuesday kept droning on and on about trying to help the woman who was going to lose her house for back taxes and when it came time to vote shecontinued to drone on about doing the right thing ... And in the end voted YES to sell the house & property.

Glad to see the dolts at JOey Land still believe their Queen is for the People. Yeah - Right.

Here's the peroxide queen's post over at JOey Land with regards to what I posted about earlier. What kills me is that when push came to shove the queen sucked the air out of the room with a horrible spin job and still voted YES to put the property up for sale. Gee Queen glad to see you took the time to also post what you said before the vote. Janet - You still suck big time!!!!

Good evening. Lori Grudzinski, Scranton, here to speak on a property at Cedar Avenue and Locust Street.

SinceI left the meeting last week, my lawyer and I have not been able to get an accurate total of what taxes are owed on MY property at 1212 Cedar Avenue. Furthermore, the account at NCC has been frozen by the City, and they will not accept payments.

How does a taxpayer pay their taxes if they won't tell you what you owe, and they will not accept payments?

This entire mess is affecting the most important thing to me in the world, my family. My husband and I always made our own way -- through college, marriage, owning 2 homes, and our children. We are very self-sufficient. We expect nothing from no one; and, up until last week, we were very happy.

We will not let a parcel of land ruin our lives; however, I must reiterate: the land left to us is for our children, for their future.

Mr. Brozzetti has several months tied up in this; I have 18 years invested in my children.

Our lawyer was unable to attend tonight since this whole issue balloonedin under aweek.

The research he did obtain thus far shows the property had never been up for tax sale or had a municipal lien from the City placed on it since 1995. It is unpermissible to sell my property.

I have been receiving thetax bills at mysame address all the years I owned it. The deed is filedwith the Recorder of Deeds under my name. I never received any notice of a lien or sale.

I have areputable localbusinessman who will buy the property from me now.

Can anyone here find out for me what the taxes are owed? Because I cannot.

I cannot see how you can put this issue to vote unless you vote in myfavor. You say it is a legal matter and you cannot decide? I was relieved when you passed it to theLaw office last week because I thought they represented all of thecitizensin Scranton.

The law offices of theCity of Scranton, to quote Ms. Seitzinger, calls me "thewoman trying to get the property from Michael Brozzetti." I was under the impression that I was the owner.

By voting "yes," you are voting against my children.Did theLaw office tell youif Ishould still pay the liability insurance on the property that I have been paying? There's a lot ofunanswered questions.

You can stop thisin its tracks tonight byvoting "no" or taking it off agenda. Let it be hashed out by the lawyers. That's all I'm asking you. By voting "yes," you are voting against my children. Please do notjust push this along because, in the end, it will be coming back. Thank you for your time.

Thatchild was so upset by what this Council's doing, the teacher had to send herhome. She couldn't even stay in school that day. You have 5 children's lives inyour hands right now. Think about it, if it was your kids. Think, and think hard.

I would like to know what you, as Council, has to lose. I would like toknow what you, as Council, have to lose by voting "no" to this. Mr. Courtright and Mr. McGoff, you are up for election here. Are you gonna stick up for the little guy here? Or are you gonna turn your back?

Mrs. Gatelli, you're big with the SSRA. Are you gonna turn your back on one ofour own? I know both of these people are from South Side. And if you had to choose which one you would pick, I'm sure you would pick Mr. Brozzetti.

Please don't call me out of order for what I'm about to say.
