Where's the speculation where Evans and DiBileo is concerned? Gary is not near man enough for the job. End of story. Evans is too much woman for the job. Her call, but in my view, she belongs in a much higher level of government, elected or appointed. Having her as mayor would be like hiring Trump to run your Bingo. She'd be great for the city, but I don't know how great it would be for her. She'd have the city back on its feet by mid-term, and then what? Hat's off to her if she does. It wouldn't be me with her credentials to go anywhere and do anything she wants to do. If she does, it only speaks to her want to turn this city around in the best interests of the people. In my humble opinion, it would be a major sacrifice in her life on behalf of the people. If she thinks the people in this city are worth what she has to bring to the table, I wish her well in a population with an undeveloped appreciation for either strong ethical convictions or the capacity to process what leadership really is. You know, loyalty and fidelity can be painful. It's not written anywhere that sacrifices will be honored at the door. Strength is perfected at times of weakness, but neither strength or weakness comes equipped with 20/20 vision. In politics, vision is confused with trust and honor is a myth, so there's little or no terra firma to call home. She'd be wise to pass on mayor, in my humble opinion. It's beneath her under these circumstances, but she's a woman who likes a good fight. She just might need to...............well, she just might need to. I'd understand that.

By the time November of 09 gets here, DD will be firmly rooted in everything and anything that deals with taxpayer spending and administration, from one end of the county to the other. Our focus will be on the movement of money, the amount of money being moved, from where and to whom, government management and efficiency and of course, dragging as many of these corrupt thieves into court as we can. We'll be rid of Doherty. We need a people's judge, badly. Dumping Harhut would make a statement. Whoever the next mayor is, he or she can expect that by that time, we'll be very well-educated in what makes City Hall, the Commissioner's Office, the SSD and the Courthouse tick. We're half way there now. No hard feelings to anyone who becomes commissioner, mayor, councilman or school director, but we're not here to make friends with anyone. We want an open and accountable government, and we're going to get it, and by default if necessary, but not preferred. If the next mayor is adverse to accountability, he or she should rethink what they're doing.

The last time I checked, Janet Evans was a big girl. I've taken down posts about many politicians, which posts wanted for factual support, ranging from DiBileo to Evans to Hailstone and even to Doherty. Yeah, I've even covered his ass when the post was inapproprate. They're all game when they step out of line, all of them. I sleep with my wife, and no one else, politically or otherwise. I owe them nothing and they owe me nothing, except to fulfill their duties. If we can respect one another and mutually benefit from dialogue on government issues, that's fine. If not, that's life. We have an agenda. We state it repeatedly. It includes killing political careers when it becomes necessary. My wife and I like what Janet Evans expresses in terms of fighting for the people, advocating for them. She's been a sincere and dedicated voice for the people. We greatly respect her loyalty to the best interests of the people. However, we'd feel that way about any elected official who so openly sticks up for the people. It just so happens in this political cesspool, she's the only elected official who does it so openly. We'd be saddened if that changed, but it wouldn't influence the purpose of this forum, which purpose is to expose corruption, regardless of who is behind it. Big corruption or small corruption, we're not fussy. We've built a very trusting army of 'underground' eyes and ears. By 09, if Doherty sneezes, I'll be saying God Bless You before his wife says it. We've grown, but it's all underground, right where it belongs.
