Is it just me ... or ... have you all noticed that they don't really sing the praises of Queen Janut at DD anymore ... are they beginning to think she sucks also???? After all she did make a promise to run for mayor ... and well from what I hear she has backed out of that promise ... even though they begged her for almost a year each week at the Podium ... I don't know about school absenteeism.......why don't you ask Janet Evans about that one. And look at her attendance records from past school years. It might surprise you.

David, you are not wrong if you use all of your days and have none left ... well then you would not be paid for the days off.

The district does have a policy that allows other employees to donate time to those in need, however you have to be seriously ill in order to qualify for this.

If she is taking time off to care for her mother then maybe she should look into a FMLA leave ... this would give her ... I believe 12 weeks off ... no pay ... but her health care would continue to be paid ... it's just a thought if she needs to take care of her Mom.

I have a friend (I know hard to believe right) who had days dontated ... we thought that since this person had been hospitalized for more than 3 weeks that they would have been sick enough to be granted the days that had been donated ... but alas we were wrong they told this person that they were not sick enough ... and I know this to be fact because I received the paperwork that I had signed in order to donate the days back from the personnel office with an explination that the person was not eligible to receive the days ... so you have to be pretty God Darn sick to get them.
