Riddle me this Batman, if Lee Morgan is so smart...

...why doesn't he take the time to comb/brush his hair before speaking on television? Ditto to the soiled hoodies that he has worn in the past. Mind you, I am NOT mocking his appearance. If he is he happy looking the way he does, then more power to the guy, but what does the above say about this man's common sense (or lack thereof)?

...why does he think that Council will actually discuss personnel matters in a public meeting? Employees...regardless of who employs them or where they work...deserve some base-line level of respect and dignity. If the person Morgan is crowing about worked for the Clerical Union, would Nancy Krake allow this person's record to be discussed on television?

...he obviously has no memory. I recall his attempt at starting "...a new political movement..." a few years ago. Yuppp...Lee had a big'ol rally up at Nay Aug Park . What, about ten people showed up? So much for the revolution Lee. Now he's using the Tax Payers Association to start his revolution. Good luck Lee...I am sure you that will garner you five or six votes. Promise Granma you will get her son a police job and you can maybe up the total to about seven.

...he obviously thinks that people either don't know or don't care about his little residency issue. Note Lee...it will come up here (and maybe in a few other places as well...one never knows).


So as for not judging a book by it's cover, I agree in principal with the concept, but reality is different. For example, if the book says "Cookbook", on the cover, then I can reasonably expect to see recipes on the pages. In this case, the book says "Guy Looking for Shortcut to Notoriety"...so I think I know what's inside, thank you very much.

Word on the street is this GQ reject showed up at a recent Hill Neighborhood Association meeting. And the only thing he accomplished was to pi$$ off many of the residents. Even some of the po' folk were rolling their eyes and walking out.

People go to their neighborhood meetings to discuss their own neighborhood and what can be done to better it. He shows up talking trash and looking for signatures.

Lee is learning his Pilchesky lessons well, making himself is own worst enemy.  Here's a concept that Mister Morgan may want to ponder:

HUMILITY
(as in listening more, and not believing that your own bull$*** should automatically matter to eveyrone else)

I know that this is an alien concept in the world of LoD/DD, but he may find that it comes in handy every once in a while.

The thing that really gets me here is this ... HE LIVES IN THE ABINGTONS!  It's not like he's dating someone who lives in the Abingtons ... he has been living there for years.  I for one have every intention of wanting to know where he lives ... and I will be asking!

those at dd claim that they don't like the curren council, mayor, commisioners, etc, YET do you see any of them taking the bull by the horns and running, no its easier to run your mouth than to run for office. btw love the captain underpants cartoon, i was on the floor laughing.

Paul, no problem here. Can't imagine why you are having that problem (and me being the international IT expert the Across The Hall Players claim me to be). It might happen with a poll or sticky, but not a generic thread.

It is MUCH easier to sit at home on your big fat internet and run your mouth off (so to speak) that to actually DO something constructive. Now that I think of it, isn't it about time for the chief player from across the hall to head off to the courthouse to file another lawsuite (a la granma)? Ducky, it's not the DD style to grab the bull by the horns, they like to get their hands dirty with the other end and sling the $hit.

No one over there has the sack to run because it's way easier to claim they have power and wield great influence over anything at all when they don't ever have to go out actually and prove it.  They'll ride the bandwagon and take credit, that's it.  Anyone publicly aligning themselves with DD or Pilchesky is pretty much sinking their own ship politically, which is why you'll never see it done.  Their dozen or so votes the old man's followers can deliver don't mean all that much, especially at a county level.

I mean, how seriously can you take those people when they'll discount a candidate simply because of his or her last name?  They really have no clue what platform the candidates are running on, or what their stand on any issue is, just whether or not their last name happens to be Irish.  :rolleyes: 

Janet Evans?  Really?  Miss I-Only-Hate-It-Because-Mayor-Doherty-Likes-It?

I don't think we will ever hear Evans or Courtright say they are associated with that message board. I don't think either has ever or will ever admit to posting there (although we know SHE does) --
we donn niid no steenkeen proof.

Can you actually see a candidate running on the "DD 4evR" ticket?? Just goes to show you how messed up our society really is....the Goon Squad can take an entire thread to make all sorts of lewd comments about Sherry Nealon-Fanucci but Thursday gets edited because she used a word that includes letters that can also refer to male genitals.

Between this and Pilchesky actually not loosing in court, I'm beginning ot think the end times are near.

As a matter of fact we see sheep being led all the time...at DD.

In the flock - If the sheep wander the dogs go after them
At DD - If the sheep wander too far they get banned
