So last night on AMC the movie Hoffa staring Jack Nicolson, there is a sceen close to the end where Hoffa is in Attorney General Kennedy's office. Kennedy is saying he is using bribery and bully tactics to try and advance his cause. Basically making claimes and allegations against those he did not think would completly agree with his views. Thus making that official not want to seek office et cetera. Hoffa explodes; Kennedy answerd back lamenting the fact that he would not be intimadated. Hoffa says F you F your family F your dead brother blah blah blah.
This scene must be on Joes TiVO cause it was just toooooo much like how he wants to be precieved. He is not nearly as popular as Hoffa is even on a 1/100000000 scale but after seeing that scene I can tell you where joe gets his daily pep talk from. We all know how hoffa ends up (Ironically enough it was supposedly by a guy from Scranton) and I do not want anything like that to happen. I guess my main question is what is next. He will never gain popularity by losing lawsuits all the time. Never by haivng 15 posters on a website. When doherty isnt in office any more will he attact the new mayor? What was he doing 6 yrs ago. Just a normal guy or an activist with some other cause.

A few years back, Joe was on a crusade against a judge in Bradford County. He had a website about the judge similar to DD. I stumbled across it once last year, but am unable to find it anymore.
Tim I have never seen this movie but I may have to make it a point to rent it if it is out on DVD ... I also hope that nothing like you describe ever happens ... Joe is a real pain in the ass but I would not want anything to happen to him. Well maybe an itchy rash would be ok ... but other than that ... I wouldn't want anything to happen to him.
Maybe hemerroids since he is such a hemerroid himself!

I may be giving him a tad to much credit but is he a sort of lobbist for the unions. The union heads tell him to kick and scream and help him with resources or is he just an independat lune looking for attention. He has not power of any sort so it really is a mute point but my curiosity is getting to me...
I do believe that he is an independent loon who is being used ... yep that's what I said ... used by the Unions to drive the administration insane ... it saves them a bunch of time ... and they feed him tid bits of information ... and he runs with it.
They hate the DPW ... because as you have read the other Unions feel betrayed by them ... so all of the DPW guys are a target for them. Which I have been sticking up for the guys ... but I do believe that if they were left to do the jobs that they know how to do ... that they would be a more efficient department. I'm not saying let them do whatever they want ... what I'm saying is this ... if a guy is on a certain run for plowing and he's been doing it for years and he knows the neighborhood ... then don't all of a sudden switch him from say West Scranton to South Scranton ... let him do what he knows best.
Anyway ... I lost my train of thought ... it has been derailed.
Oh I know ... they use Joe and his forum to slam the DPW ... Bo Peep ... I do believe is Ann Marie Stulgris ... but anyway ... that's not important ... Joe does not even realize how people are using him because he is Narsisstic ... which I have posted on many occassions ... he needs to believe that he is more important than he really is ... that he has more power than he really does ... if the people that read that site really followed Joe the way they say they do and if they really had as much power at they think they do ... the election results would have been dramatically different in the past 2 elections ... Gary would be Mayor and Janet would be a State Rep.
Anyway I think I have said enough! You don't want me on a long ramble!
