Ag ... I think what Girl was referring to was shrinking down the pasted material to a smaller font ... I don't think that she has a problem with the 14 pt ... or she would have told you ... but I know what she means about the very large fonts being continuously used ... I myself like to use a 12 pt or 14 pt depending on the font I use.

Just my two cents, but I wouldn't have given in like you did, concerning TPP's post.  From what I can tell, you took down the original post, in accordance with the rules of conduct, and then he reposted the same thing, right?  That, in and of itself, is against the rules of conduct as I see it, but you let the re-post stay up.  Fair enough; to paraphrase what Art said in another thread, your board, your choice.

However, in an incredible show of immaturity, TPP later came along and removed his own posts.  If this were my board, it would have ended right there.  I would not have gone back and reposted his OP from Friday.  I also would not have let his cowardly anonymous posts stay up either.  Beyond being immature, trollish, unproductive, and a waste of webspace (or, in a word, Pilcheskyesque), it served no purpose at all to the community as a whole (or, more Pilcheskyesqueness).

Keep in mind, removing an anonymous post is not banning.  One must be a part of something to be removed from it.  From what I can tell, TPP is still an active member.  Whether he or she choses to actually sign in and take part in a discussion and follow the guidelines you've posted is one thing.  Taking advantage of the anonymous post function to continue to throw a tantrum is just childish, and should not be allowed.

I think the few small administrative changes Lus has made recently will help him/her to better keep track of the posts - anon or otherwise. 

I (personally and in my opinion) don't think Lus 'gave in' as far as putting the post back up.  It displays just what juvenile criminals the posters across the hall can be.  Paul makes a good point about the tantrums of the anon posters, though.  Absolutely Lus has the right to delete them - and delete them she should - not edit them, DELETE (just think of them as big red caps) them if they are nothing but a sophomoric tantrum. 

Put me down as needing to register.  The registration is free, it doesn't ask for any sort of identifying information, all it takes is a valid e-mail address. 

By registering, "anonymous" won't have a voice, but that voice was nothing but a shrill wine anyway.  A poster should register, pick a screen name (could be your real name, could be a Fantasy Book character, who cares), and take some sort of responsibility for they write, instead of hiding behind an "anonymous" post.

I know that I said in another thread that if Tripp posted and broke the rules one more time that I would require registration ... but now that I think about it more ... I think the time for registration has come ... I feel that our posters here have spoken and well this being a democracy ... it's registration time as of Now!
