Joe seems to have created yet another account to insinuate that he has a bodyguard.  I'm not really convinced that this Checkered Flag fellow is real, either.  Oh, the delusions of grandeur that must be going on in his head.

Joe, seriously, put down the bottle. Get meds.  You talk about commitment to a cause.  You need to be commited, just because.

Interesting Hannibal quote (the General, not the sock): "I have seen during my life many an old fool; but this one beats them all."  Heh, same thing could be said with regard to the old man.

Edited title.

Joe's got a bodyguard now?  The way they've talked about him across the hall, I thought he was a sixty-year-old geezer in the body of a thirty-year-old hunk who worked out daily and drank a dozen eggs for breakfast.  Oh, wait - that was in my dreams last night - scared the bejesus out of me too!  I'd take Freddie Kruger over that sight ANY DAY !

Seriously - I've heard tell that he's a wannabee musclehead who's a regular at a gym on Keyser Ave.  Maybe I read wrong.

F-ing-crazy! Unreal!

"He has slay the betrayer tatooed on his back!"

"He had his rib cage crushed in a Scranton Eagles game."

"He'll confront anyone willing to show up at 819 Sunset Ave."

Now he needs a bodyguard.

His followers are lining up on bridge decks and ordering hemlock pills as we speak. Is this for real? The toughest, Indian riding, ass kicking, assassin dodging badass in town needs a bodyguard?

So do I.

Are there any people out there who'd like to serve as punch catcher for 48 year old ex-marines who are still in great shape and would love the chance to prove it to Internet loonies? If so, I'm your guy. Submit your resume.

It's over kids. Joe has jumped the shark.

Here's the edited post in question, from "Hannibal".  It originally appears on page 2 of the above linked thread, near the bottom.

Mr. Pilchesky, I am retired from the service with 22 years in Special Forces duty here and abroad...My opinions aside, as I said, I am retired serviceman, but still a youthful and very capable man of action. I am interested in getting permission from you to watch your back, so to speak...I come with many surviellance toys I picked up along the way. You won't be sorry. Your shadow, on the other hand, will be...My time, experiences and services are yours for the asking.

Frankly, I'm not convinced that Checkered Flag isn't also one of the old man's personalities.  Unless maybe it's his father in law, pissed off that Edith Bunker got brainwashed into this whole personality cult.

So now we have it, self-proclaimed super-hero Pilchesky has an arch-nemesis in Mayor Doherty (his own version of Dr Evil), an evil organization to fight in the IBM (errrr I mean ICN...his own version of Spectre) AND NOW has assassins lurking around every corner!!!!

Does this guy have to grease the sides of his head to fit through door frames? I mean how much more self-important can he make himself?  It's getting to the point where you really start to think that this guy is seriously loosing it.

At first I pictured Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry, all squinty and raspy making that "I am interested in getting permission from you to watch your back, so to speak...I come with many surviellance toys I picked up along the way" speech.  Nope, that's not right...

Then I pictured Rambo ...

Then I pictured the Terminator ...

Then I pictured Snake Pliskin - nope still not right ...

After much thought and consternation, the perfect picture came into my head and clicked -- The Ambiguously Gay Duo from Saturday Night Live.  Those two muscular bods, capes aflying, skipping along, tights as tight as tight can be, and then he says with a faint lisp "... My opinions aside, as I said, I am retired serviceman, but still a youthful and very capable man of action. ... Your shadow, on the other hand, will be...My time, experiences and services are yours for the asking. ..."

Yeah -- two sissy boys righting all the wrongs in the city.

Oh, good lord, Joe.  Now this?

From "Devient":    "Here is something for you to though....  I have an EXTENSIVE background in computers....  and should you want to know who these fools are - or their home addresses - or just about anything you can think of...  I am sure that from just a small bit of information - I can point you in the right direction"

Old man, I'm not the most computer savvy person out there, but even I know that if you have someone's IP address (which as the administrator of a messageboard, you do, as you've banned IP addresses simply for disagreeing with you ) you can get basic information from the ISP.  But only if a crime really has been committed, which appears doubtful, since your two "stalkers" have some fundamentally inconsistent details in their "stories".  You'd probably need a warrant.  And by you, I mean local law enforcement.  In any event, if it actually did go that far, all arrows will probably point back to yourself.  Which could be precisely WHY it hasn't gone that far, right?  Making it sound like "Devient" can get you anymore information than you already have is just talking out of your ass.  If you really are being harassed and stalked, call the damn police.  Besides, you're the arrogant dumbass who posted your home address and invited it upon yourself.  If someone truly is after your child, it's no different than the attacks you've launched on other people and their families.  Frankly, if someone is stalking an insignificant loudmouth such as yourself, they are more mentally unstable than you.  The drama in your head that you've transferred to posts is almost riveting, I'll give you that.  Like I said in an earlier post, it's hard to look away from a trainwreck.

This was my favorite part: "What they have done is make terroristic threats..."

And offering to "break every bone between your hairline and chin" isn't a terroristic threat?  You're a punchline, old man.  A laughing stock.

PS, you misspelled "deviant", ****head.

Paul,

I am wondering and I don't know if you even know ... but who made these supposed threats against him and his family?

And when they are talking about getting the addresses of people from the computer who's addresses are they talking about ... because if it is about anyone on this site I can tell them this ... if anyone ever attempted to stalk any of us here ... I can't speak for everyone ... but I can speak for myself ... I would have no problem picking up the phone and calling the authorities ... I would press charges ... and let the law take it's course ... if I believed my children to be in any type of danger I would certainly take no chances.

I do believe that he is just trying to pump up his cult leadership image ... have you ever read anything about the cult leaders ... this is how they start out ... the whip people up into a frenzy and that's when the trouble begins ... the difference here is that he is someone who is making it seem as though he is more formidable than he really is and they will never know because they are not living in the typical commune ... they are in an online community

When I am at a computer I can be anyone I want to be ... I could tell you all anything I want ... and most people will believe anything these days.  So here we have Joey P. telling them that he is fighting this fight for them ... when all he is really doing is seeking revenge ... and using these poor pathetic people to help further his own cause ... it's actually a shameful thing he is doing.

I believe that Mr. Pilchesky (and this is only my personal opinion) should seek help ... I know that he cannot help himself ... but I do believe he is sick, again this is only my opinion.

Who does this describe?  You be the judge!

Narcissistic Personality Disorder  (Source Psychology Today Website
Psychology Today's Diagnosis Dictionary: Narcissistic Personality Disorder

An individual with narcissistic personality disorder exhibits extreme self-importance, inability to empathize with others and heightened sensitivity to criticism. Self-involvement and lack of empathy characterize this personality disorder.

People with narcissistic personality disorder are frequently perfectionists and need to be the center of attention, receiving affection and admiration, and controlling the situation. To get the attention he craves, he may try to create crises that return the focus to him. Like patients with antisocial personality disorder, this person places entitlement issues at the fore. He feels that the world owes him, regardless of whether he makes a contribution.

Symptoms

  • Overreacts to criticism, becoming angry or humiliated
  • Uses others to reach goals
  • Exaggerates own importance
  • Entertains unrealistic fantasies about achievements, power, beauty, intelligence or romance
  • Has unreasonable expectation of favorable treatment
  • Needs constant attention and positive reinforcement from others
  • Is easily jealous

I would have to say that this is something that he suffers from ...  If you want to read more about this disorder ... please click the link ... If you think I am wrong and owe Joey an apology then please convince me that I am wrong.  I welcome the debate on this subject.

I don't think threats against him were actually made, but I have no way of really knowing.  Maybe someone is playing a Max Cady mind game with him.  Personally, I think that whole drama is being made up to "validate" Joe's "importance" in the community.  What VIP hasn't had someone make threats against them?  This is his idea of "street cred".

As far as getting addresses, when we posted over there, he had our IP addresses with the post.  When we were banned, he probably banned our IP address as well as our account name.  Same thing if someone sends an e-mail, the IP address from the sender can be embedded in it.  Each IP address is different, but they're similar.  He should be able to figure out that the poster is in Scranton, or Dunmore, or wherever.  He can't figure out that the poster is at 123 Main Street or anything like that just from the IP address.  He'd need to contact the internet service provider for a specific address or name.  Rather, law enforcement would, and chances are they'd need a warrant for that information.  Imagined threats are not grounds for issuing a warrant, however.  I have no doubt that he knows "Checkered Flag"'s IP address.  I think that's all he's gonna get, though, since I believe the whole thing was a fabricated incident, and that he'll find that he's holding his own IP address in one hand while typing with the other.
