I posted a little critique of the Almighty Janet Evans last night on DD, and lo and behold, there is no trace of the thread anywhere this morning. Hmmm....I remember something about "no cuffs on free speech." Pilchesky and Janet are frauds. All I posted was a thread titled "Pot, Meet Kettle..." and started it off with this quote from Janet Almighty: "...I think we can ill afford more litigation in Scranton...� and I called Janet the hypocrite she is, since obviously she thinks we can afford frivolous litigation when it benefits her. And, of course, in the name of "free speech," Joe the serial plaintiff deletes the thread. I disagree with Doherty on a lot, but I'm beginning to think he's the lesser of two evils compared to Janet. To disagree with the mayor and other officials is one thing, and a healthy debate can get heated at times...but the level of vulgarity, the ridiculous threats, the stalking of officials' families, and the tinfoil-hat-black-helicopter atmosphere over there is pathetic. You nailed it Sam...right on the head. DD isn't about DISAGREEING with the Mayor, it's about DEMONIZING the Mayor. Why? Because that's what Joe Pilchesky and his cabal of union bosses want. Howdy Sam, don't feel bad. I got banned by Marblehead after one post!! I then waltzed over to the PD site on chumster and reposted my post from the DD board. I had a feeling that what I said would strike a nerve, so I copied it before it got deleted (it was deleted in under a minute, if you can believe that!). It was a nice gentle tongue-in-cheek piece about the pinheads over there, and Marblehead took exception. Well, it was very well received at the PD chumster site...hell, it was even posted in 2 threads! Yes, it was the most politically incorrect thing you have ever read, but it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Yet that crazy bastard (who continually spouts off about his First Amendment rights) deleted it faster than it took to post it! That's what pissed me off. Everyone who read it at the PD site may not have liked it, and that's OK, my slice of humor isn't for everyone, and that's fine too. The important thing is...my post was not deleted! I was asked not to drop any more F-bombs, and I haven't (although I have wanted to, many a time). It's all about the 'real' freedom of speech here. Dill, you are right ... your post well ... I wasn't sure about it ... but I am glad that we left it up ... it was up to all of the posters here and I really have to say I was the only one who found it ... a bit ... raw ... that's the word I am going to use ... I was afraid it was going to offend ... but the other members didn't see a thing wrong with it ... and well Dill I love your humor now .... Welcome to our home Sam I Am ...
