I think that you could consider it resolved because it is a fact that at a meeting Ray was asked to bring the letter he claimed to be sent by council ... not the original ... but a copy ... and well Ray never came back with a copy for them ... so this is what I was thinking ... there was no letter and I'm sure that's the same way those who sit on council feel.
Now ... and this is just a thought ... why would there be such an urgent need to shut up Ray Lymon (don't know how to spell it)? I have been trying to figure this out ... Ray is a legend in his very own mind ... he likes being on TV and loves a bit of drama to surround him ... I would have to say yes it was resolved because he never produced copies of this letter telling him that he should stay away from meetings.

This is the first time I saw the clip, so thanks for the link Anonymous.
I have to admitt that I found it funny in a morbid way. Anyone else sit at the edge of their seat when they asked him the name of his lawyer? I was half expecting him to say something like 'Hugh Lewis Dewy' of the firm 'Dewy, Cheatum & Howe' (for all you Car Talk fans out there).
Yet another example of why the public comment part of council meetings has degraded into something more akin to a daytime talk show.

I saw the meeting where he made that statement. Other than being an extremely inaccurate representation of Scranton's citizenry, it was just too damned funny. Personally, I do not think there is a letter - any letter to him - especially from "konsel".
However, simply as a diversion, maybe the JoJo's put their magic scanner to use. Hell, I wouldn't put it past them to create some fictitious something or other and add a few carefully placed signatures. Especially after Ray and Judy had "words" outside chambers. Besides - those two have been known to bring the biggest spoon to a $h1t-stirring party.
You and I wouldn't fall for something like that; but Ray Lymon? he would take it and run with it - hmmmm.....
