Synchronous Motor Equivalent Circuit
Permalink

Hi!
Could someone help with this equivalent circuit, because there is something I don't understand.
This figure states here that (U_phi=j*X_phi*I_a) is the voltage that is induced in one phase by the rotating magnetic flux which is created by the 3-phase stator windings. Seems to me here that I_a in one phase is the only current that creates the flux, but what about the currents in the other two-phase? They together create the rotating flux, where are their induced voltages in this equivalent circuit? Or how should I imagine this?
please help!
thank you!
