I have Maruti Esteem which is about 18 yrs. old. It is runs on Petrol as well as LPG. Lately the car is getting heated up. the bonnet becomes hot evenafter travel of 2-3 kms. and it is more so when AC is on. Eventhough it has not given me any trouble but I am worried. The Temperature gauge is on less than half after 3-4 kms. of running and remains in that position through out. Showed it to mechanic and he says there is no problem with the car. Also, after this problem started I have taken my car on long drive (200 kms one way) and faced no problem. But was always worried that it should not give trouble in between. Another thing that I would like to add here is, during this trip, the next day after travelling 200kms. I drove it for about 3 kms. and it was drizzling and the bonnet was so hot that the rain was evaporating and I could see steam. When I stopped the AC the steam formation stopped. I travelled back 200 kms. during the same day without any problem. Thanks
