I find it passing strange that as soon as fireman are laid off... lo and behold... fires break out far wide throughout the city! I sure hope the cynical little thoughts in my head don’t ever end up being true.
I'm only suprised that it wasn't in Keyser Valley, since that's the area specifically mentioned by union mouthpiece Judge as now having the longest potential response time. That would have been way too coincidental.
I know a lot of people who had that very same thought ... myself included.
