SSD fired Solicitor Harry McGrath tonight giving the reason that it is time for a change. This was the shocker of the SSD Board meeting tonight.
In other News Jeff Brazil is replacing Bill McDonough as Director of Facilities and Grounds and Joe Slack will be taking over the position of Recycling Foreman with the SSD.

They held 2 meetings tonight ... one on the budget and directly following that meeting they had a personnel meeting ... they hired some people ... and they fired Harry McGrath effective immediately. They went into the back room for a caucus and when they came out Harry McGrath was not with them ... they announced the new employees ... and then they announced that effective immediately Harry McGrath was no longer the solicitor ... reason given ... it was time for a change.
