Seriously people the city is 25.2 square miles. You are never further away from something than 5 miles in any direction. This over the top hysteria needs to stop. If the real issue is "protecting people" I propose any area you don't think is adequately covered for fire... start a volunteer station. (If it not about just about saving union jobs that is!)
I don't understand..... according to the news the cause of the fire was "careless smoking".....I didn't know Doherty smoked. Damn! I hate when he flicks his butts into the citizen's windows....you can't take that guy anywhere!
Yeah, and I read that the fire department got there in something like 3 minutes. Gee, maybe it would have been 2 and a half minutes had Doherty not hatched one of his evil plots.
