LOL I got what you were saying Glenn.....I agree this is unbelievable.   Kevin Murphy is claiming he was confused and "accidentally" voted affirmatively.  I thought Murphy might actually be ok but now he is blaming the devil so to speak...."I was confused and baffled and so busy with the budget that I didn't understand English when they brought up the resolution....."  wow how lame is that excuse.?

When did they vote on this. Not that I am trying to come up with an excuse for Mr. Murphy, but his nephew was gravely ill for several weeks hooked up to life support and then he passed away last week. His name was Tim Maloney, and Kevin was close to his nephew ..... so quite possibly he may not have been in the right frame of mind when voting on this. Tim was a very nice young man I believe he was a 2007 graduate of Scranton HS, he was on the wrestling team ... it was just very very sad. So maybe Mr. Murphy was confused. I personally will give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Sometime around the 13th of March.  I too will give him a pass based on this information. The others will not get my mercy.


That is horrible about the Maloney boy. Tell me.. was his dad a coach at the Vikings Jr Football?  If so I think I know this young man and the family though it has been years since I have seen them. I am horrified.  I was unaware of his passing or illness for that matter.  My deepest sincere condolences. no

I don't know if he was the Vikings Coach. His father used to own a pizza shop on W. Market St. called Big Daddy's. I don't know if it's the same Tim Maloney. Timmy Maloney was a 2007 Graduate of Scranton High School and he was on the Wrestling team, that I know for sure don't know if he was involved in any other sports though.
