In my experience, no.  There are places where, for example, city council meetings are filled with discussions about policy and not rants by bitter old women and tax-cheating serial plaintiffs.

NEPA is a lot like Chicago when it comes to politics.  The economy has played a role over the years a well...when the best jobs tend to be in the public sector, you tend to get more graft.

Cory chose the Mayor of Jessup, now i'm hearing Dibileo and Wanzak will team up,, I hope Wanzak isn't dumb enough to take on that baggage....

Actually, she's the Mayor of Blakely. Having met her a few times, I found her quite interesting. In fact, even though she challenged a long term popular Mayor in her election, it was as positive & completely lacking of vitriol as I've ever seen. I wish her well, but County politics isn't Blakely.

The general consensus at one of the local establishments in the borough of Blakely.  This is a move by Mellow to control the commissioner ticket.  She was the only Italian individual to say yes.

Glenn please explain how someone who is "disabled" enough to not be able to teach English (which I am almost certain is not a full contact job, well at least not the teaching part...the extra stuff I can't speak to) but is not disabled when it comes to being in the lime light....running around to campaign events, sitting for hours at city council, and now possiblya run at a full time job? Do you have an explanation for that?

A lot of trees had to die for this bluff, Bob. 

Although my wager continues to be on Mr. Sheridan pursuing the district judge slot, I believe it would behoove the director to take his name out of consideration for commissioner as quickly as possible, as Brian Jeffers is still standing in the headlights waiting to see whether or not Janet Evans decides to put pedal to metal.

No, Janet Evans is "for the people", well as long as "the people" are defined as Janet Evans, David Evans, Christopher Evans, etc.

 

Note that I'd add Pilchesky to that list, but she mostly just uses him as this kind of Internet Rottweiler (all be it a Rottweiler that is elderly and has had all of its teeth removed).
