AND you support a website that thinks it is ok to do the following..... use the N word....use homophobic comments, shows soft porn (yes the avatars count), encourages stalking, (going through people garbage qualifies) sitting in cars across from public officials homes watching (hi Dave), graphic sexual comments, threats of violence, ..... ya!! your moral compass is very impressive you must set a fabulous example for your children.....love to meet you and your kids......NOT!

My child is in elementary school, we are trying our hardest to raise him in a value centered, moral household.  Both my husband and myself were/are dedicated Americans who have spent our adult lives serving our nation.   When the adults in our community are in positions of power and engage in reckless, dangerous and illegal behavior, my 'workload" as a parent increases ten fold.  Parenting in the 21st century is challenging enough, I really could live without  elected public officials making it harder!!!!

I'm just wondering how not approving of the job that Chris Doherty does as Mayor of Scranton (or any other politician) translates into a "tenfold" increase in parental workload.

Ok...keep wasting your time, you will not get a rise out of me.  My children are not an issue for you, and the likely hood of you ever meeting them is highly unlikely.  Unless you travel to Long Island, hang out with 22 year olds or join the boy scouts.  Have a good night.  keep taking things out of context it seems to get you off. 

I particpate on a website, a few actually, I guess I better start going through everything on Facebook, city data, here, the times tribune, craigslist etc etc etc...talk about drama!

I think that is my point "dear", a colossal waste of time talking about a person who did not even know you existed.  BTW, terns of endearment are usually reserved for those close to a person.  Hence, another demonstration on how the the SSD could benefit from a workshop on manners.

I am glad that the Buona pizza owner won, my husband loves the pizza from the Lackawanna ave shop, and has many fond memories of the owner from childhood.  I too am glad he won the case.  With that being said, I have no personal affection for the sister of this man, and her ilk.  Yet, another area of disagreement in my long marriage!  A former colleague once asked me, what a liberal New Yorker was thinking when they married a dude from Scranton?, tongue in cheek, I replied I was using my smaller head!Oh no she didn't, oh yes she did..TMI TMI TMI TEHETEHETEH LOL!  HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL!  SMILE IT MAKES PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE UP TO SOMETHING

As soon as I am physically able (holds breath in anticipation) I will be attending all SSD board meetings.  My husband is going to realllllllly love me for this! biggrin I may not be the most "refined" ( sorry Mom) broad on the planet;  but this Mommy has had enough!  My son goes to a school where parents can not read a don't not enter sign (judge not, lest ye be judged) and ROUTINELY DRIVE THE WRONG WAY INTO A SCHOOL PARKING  LOT FOR AFTERNOON PICK-UP! Off course (of course) it has come to my attention that ONE OF THE WORSE (worst) habitual offenders is a retired SPD Detective or some other RETIRED LEO that (who) knows better. Last week on Thursday...this dude was so po'ed with the UNSAFE, DANGEROUS,deplorable ice and snow conditions in the parking lot that he had to wait till almost all the kids were gone to go the wrong way into the parking lot and almost ran my fat dupa over as I stood in the middle of the parking lot as he was going THE WRONG WAY! (Maybe you shouldn't be standing in the "middle of the parking lot" in the first place, dumbass.  Stand on the damn sidewalk with the other parents)Yeah folks, I am that kinda of ARSEHOLE!  I figure if a 1987 Caddy could not take me out I stand a pretty good chance with a late model what ever (keep rolling the dice, though, jackass).

SO WHERE WAS? I OH YEAH, so I have a school principal that either can not or will not have a parking lot maintained properly for the health and safety for students and parents AMONGST SO MANY OTHER INTERSTING TIDBITS (The principal is an administrator, not the property manager.  Learn the difference.  Blame the maintenance staff if you are so irate), a former school board member resigning over a DWI, another one who runs out on a vote night THAT IS BEFORE THE BOARD FOR ANOTHER BOARD MEMBERS WIFE TO BECOME PRINCIPAL AND THAN (then) DEMAND A NEW SCHOOL BE BUILT (agreeing/opining that a new school needs to be built is not "demanding"), another one that has DEMONSTRATED A COMPLETE LACK OF HUMAN DECENCY  and APPEARS TO BE/HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE blood sucking thief within in his own family (proof, or just continuing to spread rumors?  Oh, wait, YOU don't participate in that behavior, right?)...AND THIS (these) ARE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN CHARGE OF MY SONS EDUCATION FOR THE NEXT EIGHT YEARS (no, YOU and HE are in charge.  Set an example!!!)?????  OK, and I am called crass, rude and all other kinds of lovely things...OK folks, let the games begin! nudge


How about focusing some of this internet bluster in the direction of YOUR former teachers?  You know, the ones who did such a piss poor job in your education.  The fact that you can't craft a simple coherent paragraph, use words properly, spell, things like that, will do NOTHING for your future political endeavors, should you actually follow through on your idle threat...pardon me, your promise.... to run for office someday.  Especially if you intend on participating in ANYTHING relating to the education of children you did not give birth to.  Bad enough you have influence yours, please do not attempt to dumb down my kid.

YIKES ....imagine having that thing yapping in your ear on a regular basis.

As to her writing skills? She couldn't pass a 6th grade composition class. She gives new meaning to a run on sentence.  My eyes are bleeding.    I agree with Paul. Please Lynn, don't go near my kids, my IQ lost 10 points just reading your posts. I can only imagine what would happen if you were to actually have a direct impact on kids.

Looking at the PA court docket sheet site, looks like Lynn WTF Bloom has had a couple of harrassment complaints against her, as well as a criminal mischief charge. No wonder she fits right in over at Pilchesky's sandbox. Yeah, she's who I want on the school board....

I was bored today so I figured i would check out what you folks were up to.  Wow, how sad.  I read with great amusement many of the threads, but being clueless, uneducated, a failure of public schools and prone to a yearly break down and run on sentences, this one was by far my fav!

For all the bashing this very small group does, all the name calling and the continued talking about people that really have no interest in any of you, I want to thank you for the entertaintment on this dreary day.   It truly was enjoyable and gave me a much needed distraction!   Talk is cheap and all of you seem to do  A GREAT DEAL OF IT!

I have lived a great many places, I may not be the smartest, thinest, most sophiscated, or richest, but I am honest, and I am not a coward. Hence, I use my real name, I do not run and I do not hide.   I am confused by the interest, since most of my time here is spent bored out of my ever loving skull!  I also do not use spell check nor proof read, as the internet and my postings are not formal documents, and while some of you may not believe it, I do other things with my time. 

Feel free to have fun a my expense.  The way I look at it, you are giving someone else a break.  Sine someone took the time to look into issues I have had here, I feel the need to inform you all.  I WAS NEVER FOUND GUILTY OF ANYTHING! News flash people, when you are an outspoken New York women in this TOWN it pisses people off.  Unlike other places, people here call the police for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!  If someone looks at a person cross, they dial 911.  It is yet another sign of the arrested development that many in Scranton suffers from.

I will share with you even though I have no obilgation what each one of those issues were.   One was a landlord tenant dispute that Glenn can vouch for and the charge was dismissed.   Another was a neighbor dispute, atcually it was an issue with the adult child of a neighbor and two other neighbors also had issues with the same women.  Sorry we found it objectionable that she smoked a joint on her front porch and cursed f this and f that with eve other word as small children played!!!   Lastly my pernnial favorite,  my husbands ex wife of 26 years ago!  An additional fyi, she has been trying to worm her way back into his life since we moved here, and I have been in court with here every year starting in 2009!  I guess she figures that since she got away with it here with him for 25 years she can do it with the next 25.  Yup, it sure pays to have connections in Scranton.    Please do not let the pesky truth get in the way of your bashing though, enjoy.

As far as the post regarding my sons school, you all were so far off base.  The princpal is Linda Demuth, some of you may know her, this is not her first rodeo.  She maintains COMPLETE POWER OVER EVERYTHING REGARDING THAT BUILDING!  Also some of you should get facts BEFORE YOU TRASH PEOPLE, me standing in the middle of the road, that is what we have done because of the reckless driving, teachers now do it completely!  Maintence personell, surely you jest, there are a total of 3 of them and good luck finding them, they  are over worked and Mrs. Demuth has them running from the time they clock in till they leave, they can not move a garbage can with out her pre approval out of pure FEAR!  I could go on and on, but what is the point, it is old news and none of you really care.  To the frustrated teacher, a typo...really off/ of are you kidding!? lol

Regarding the new Magistrate, well myself, my husband and the ex thing had our annual pow wow in Jan. and she it was dismissed again!  This time though the Mgrst.  handed the file over to dectectives so next time, she will be going to jail. 

God, I hope so...I have been married for 23 years in June to my husband.   In that time, this woman has been married 3 more times, moved over 30 times, used 6 different names, filed bankruptcy twice, faced over 10 criminal charges, been convicted of welfare fraud, has contacted my children not their children MY children, harrassed, threatened and caused me to miscarry what would have been my third child in 1999.  So yeah, I have issues with her. 

Enjoy all, I do think the Lynn WTF is pretty funny, because I do spend a great deal of time wondering that very thing, although I think for different reasons then you all do.  I can at least laugh at myself and I would never ever run for any office in this city, I will practice random acts of kindness.  I personally can not wait to only visit my son and his girlfriend, Amber O'Malley after they take over my residence here in N. Scranton.  Oh...surprise, just you didn't know that one huh?  So no folks, it was never rumors, it was all fact!

I don't make fun of you ... I know exactly what goes on at Armstrong School ... I know exactly what Mrs. DeMuth is like ... my good friend works there and they do work the traffic ... Mrs. Demuth decided she doesn't want parent's on the property before a certain time and I do believe that she makes maintenance people make sure that they aren't on the property ... get over yourself you don't know everything about that school.

What I say about you and the only thing I believe I said was just this ........... you claim not to be judgemental when asked what you thought of Joe Pilchesky ... "I'm not here to judge" ... was your stand ... yet just about every post you make at DD is some sort of judgement on someone ... so do you get why people here take issue with you?

You told us you were running for political office ... yet when asked questions you had no answers ... so that tells me that you were not running because you had a calling to help this district ... and the children of our district ... you were going to run just to see if you could get it and if you did you would figure it out later on.

Post here or don't either way we really don't care ... but we will continue to look at your posts from across the hall. Have fun hanging with Joey and the gang ... they may believe your crap or even care ....but I dont' see that happening here for you.

I never claimed to know everything about anything.  I do know a great deal about the school.  Since you have a "friend" that works there, she should be able to tell you that initally it was one teachers aide and Miss Y in the back parking lot.  NOW it is Miss Y, the aide, two more teachers and one teacher on the corner.

She should also be able to tell you that Mrs. Demuth allowed the back parking lot to be a safety issue for the Majority of the Winter, until I announced one evening that a mother and child had fallen on school property that moring.  Then  much to my thankful and greatful heart, all the areas around the school were plowed, sidewalks were cleaned and the children could safely enter and leave the building.

You are correct, I did not develop a platform, I was shocked but what little I knew.  I also did not run.  As far as judgements, again, you are correct.  I do learn, I actually appreciated the mirror being held.  I am shocked by how judgemental I truly am and disappointed in myself.  I pray and work on it daily. 

I am still outraged at what I see in this city, but my health has taken a serious turn, and I now have to go to Philadelphia for treatment.  I am also trying to remember one valuable lesson from college, God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason.  I am listening more and speaking less.  As far as across the hall, believe me, I get bashed a lot, called names, have comments deleted etc.  What can a person do?  As I said, I do not run and I do not hide.  Yes, I did post under a moniker, but that changed, and I have not gone back to it.  As with everything else, we live and learn and die a fool.  

The personal insults, well, whatever!  It must be wonderful to be so secure in ones place in the world, and be able to know the inner workings of families and relationships without knowing the people.  If you folks want to bash me fine, but I would appreciate it if you left my husband and children out of it.  My children have never commented on anything and my boys are like my husband, quiet and reserved.  My husband has served this nation his entire adult life, is not political and has been publicly humilated enough by the nonsense between his ex wife and myself.

Then quit forcing them on us.  No one but you cares.  You're the one who involves them in nearly every post, much as you did immediately after asking the rest of us to leave them out of it.  Also, kindly direct us to posts where we bash either your kids or your husband.  The closest we came was pitying your child after you decided to burden us with his medical history in an effort to shine the spotlight on yourself some more.
