The discussion about the police/firefighters court award seems to have evolved into a bitch fest not about less police and fire coverage, but about which poster said what to whom.  I take responsibility for everything I stated but make no apology. 

Mr. Pilchesky seems to think I should identify myself to prove how big my balls are.  I certainly considered it, but somehow common sense prevailed over my baser instincts to indulge pride over practicality.

Betraying my anonymity would likely cause me to suffer retribution or possibly even job loss for many of my comments, and Im not prepared to lose my employment over a message board challenge.  Brains over balls- perhaps man has evolved.

With that said, Im still extremely bothered that Joe Pilchesky can write: ....If there's a God at all the entire Doherty Clan will perish in a fire on Christmas Day because it took three minutes too long to get to his house.. with the effect that many posters are not offended, and some even laud the idea.  Given the fact that many folks say things on an anonymous message board they would not repeat in public, even the idea that wishing harm to innocent family members is somehow justified, is startling.  Perhaps my Hardcore character does not belong here after all.

While I have agreed in principle with the purpose of this website, and even applaud some of Mr. Pilcheskys accomplishments, more and more I read disturbing bigoted or even sadistic thoughts.  Some here have devolved into idol worshippers who believe Joe Pilchesky is the magnanimous savior of this region.  Sadly, history has shown that cultic followers are ultimately left disenchanted and disenfranchised.

In the real world, I am a police officer, and I hope that most people would not want someone who took an oath to protect and serve, to agree with the sentiment of wishing the grisly death of the family of an adversary.  I choose to fight oppression head on, not stab it in the back.

I fully acknowledge that Joe Pilchesky is responsible for the demise of Frank Shimkus and multiple other politicians, for championing the legal battles concerning churches and sports complexes, and for establishing a website that exposes corruption.  But it seems that the gold ring that still eludes Mr. Pilchesky, the public destruction of Chris Doherty, will be accomplished not by him, but by the pissed on, ass raped unions he seems to equally despise.  The lay off of a good percentage of police and firefighters will destroy Dohertys political career, and the unions who have played the role of pawns for so long will be the ones who dethrone the king.

I have actually enjoyed the barbs and the arguments, the ridicule and the whole Yin and Yang of my usually adversarial position, but there is a line even I wont cross.  I called Mr Pilcheskys comment about the Doherty family dying in a fire low class, after which he asked me, Low class by whose standards?  Yours?

Thats right, my standards.  I guess my balls arent that big after all.
