Rogan gets a bum rap from DD ... Discuss	Permalink

For some it seems to be about loyalty ... loyalty to the Mayor or loyalty to Janet Evans. Forgive me if I am wrong but shouldn't it be about loyalty to the City of Scranton and making the right choices for the city of Scranton? Rogan was a Republican who turned Dem to run for council ... and now the kids across the hall feel that he should be loyal to the Democratic Party ... amazing .... they should have known that he would not be ... he is a Republican who happens to at this moment be a registered Dem, I think this guy is getting a bum deal from the kids across the hall ... he's not doing exactly what they want him to do so that makes him no good in their eyes ... could it be that he thought Jimmy Willimas was the best person for the seat on the Zoning Board? Janet approved of this ... but Williams made a decision that ended up being in favor of Judy Gatelli so they (Williams and Rogan) are now labled cronies ... could it be that this building was not a church ... could it be this building does not have enough parking to accomodate the congregation ... could it be that this building is truly disruptive to the neighborhood ... we don't really know as we are not from the neighborhood ... but people who are went and fought it and won ... now the fun begins Rogan is no good and Williams who they were just defending a week prior to this is no good ... you can't win with the kids across the hall ... this is a case of they were damed if the do and damed if they don't ... because if they sided with the church they no doubt would have been up in arms over that as the congregation is Latino ... so they would have then been full of the usual racist rants ... there was no winning in this situation no matter what they did. The only reason they are against the Zoning decision is because it was Judy Gatelli who spoke on behalf of her neighborhood. __________________ I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... Joe Pilchesky is not a lawyer ... he's just a guy playing a lawyer on the internet. Please don't trust your legal needs to this man.

Give them credit Lus, they are remarkably consistent. This is a crew that will salute ANYTHING Joe Pilchesky does. They will defend him WHATEVER he says. If he says "Rogan Bad" then "Rogan Bad". Better yet, if he tolerates postings...on HIS BOARD...that say "Rogan Bad" then that's a signal to his sheeple that it's okay to bash Rogan. My opinion? I don't give a $hit. Rogan can support whomever or whatever he wants. I just care about how he performs on City Konsil. In fact bucking the party bosses (especially in the City of Scranton) is a GOOD thing. As for the church in South Side, you nailed it Lus. If Judy Gatelli supported this church then the likes of Fay & company would come out against it. Plain and simple. They are both simplistic and predictable, traits that are readily exploited by someone such as Pilchesky. __________________ Free Speech does't require a multi-paragrah disclaimer Mr. Pilchesky.

I think that the kids across the hall forget one thing ... they are the ones who helped to push Rogan into office ... They wanted their precious supermajority ... I seem to recall anyone who posted anything negative about Rogan being slammed for saying anything bad about him and then being told that they are jeapordizing the "Supermajority" ... and now .... they want to know who in their right mind would vote for this "kid" with no life experience ... are they kidding ... they voted for him along with the push from the Evans camp and the doomers.

Some of us pointed out the age and life experience issues and well we were laughed at for feeling that way... funny though all of that applied to young Dough Miller ... but not Rogan because they felt that Rogan would go in and be Janet's little puppet ... Now they have turned on this guy and guess what ... he didn't vote against the "supermajority agenda" YET ... but I'm sure after all of this slamming he may ...

My hope is that he does wake up and see the "Supermajority" for what it is ... and that he makes the decisions ... which are hard ... that are the right decisions for the city at large and not just the Janet worshipers. I think that these people will help him to see that they are not interested in what is best for the city ... they are only interested in what is best for themselves.

Only in Scranton can a school kid with no job, no life experience, no children, no wife, no property and no credibility, but with a criminal record for publicly drinking, get elected to a legislative position. Un-f*#king-believeable!!!!!!! So, he turns out to be a fence-jumping backstabber? And we're shocked? ONLY IN SCRANTON, FOLKS, ONLY IN SCRANTON.

They just don't like this kid now because he is not the puppet that they thought he was going to be ... but I do not really understand what he has done to lead them to this particular conclusion ... as Council has been off for weeks now ... did they turn on him simply because of the Jimmy Williams decision the went in favor of Mrs. Gatelli? Or is there more to this ... hmmmm ... time will tell. Hopefully Mr. Rogan will become a councilman who will be willing to stand on his own two feet instead of letting Mrs. Evans do all of the thinking for him.

What they are doing is pushing him right out of the Supermajority Corral. He has a temper and, being 23, does not yet have the circuit breakers necessary to stop him from making a sudden move. Dummies. GC __________________

Your not just noticing how stupid these people are ................. are you? I am just saying that it has bee pretty evident since we began PD .... They don't realize that a good public official is one who does the right thing and not one that does what the Dem's want or the Republican party wants ... they do what they believe is the best ... and what they really don'g get is that they are not the only voters in the city of Scranton ... hell they keep saying that they represent the taxpayers ... well I am here to tell you that I am a taxpayer in the City of Scranton and the last thing I want is for anyone one who is a Joe Pilchesky follower to talk for me. I don't agree with most of Joes views and he does not speak for me. My hope is that young Mr. Rogan will continue to stand on his own two feet and stop being a follower ... because Mrs. Evans will not lead him down the right path. My hope is that he always does what is best for the City ... and that does not mean giving in to the kids across the hall because they are not out for the greater good of the City of Scranton they are only out for themselves. __________________ I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ...
