As yesterday was one of the most troubling yet rewarding days for Lackawanna County... The City fell farther into the Dark ages... Someone please tell me if this is fact: Your Councilman Rogan, on the stand under oath.. Stated that the budget discussions took place in Janet's kitchen... Is that not a violation of the Sunshine Act? If it is, will someone make them answer to it.. Will Joe P go and submit a RTK to know who and all that were present at the time of these meetings. You can't play both sides to the middle... We all must take a fair and balanced stance.. Bad governance is bad.. whether it is your side or not.... If it is not a violation... It does come off as a bit of vindictive politics... These new council members ran on the platform of business not as it was.. but as it should be... No they are doing exactly what they screamed about Doherty... Someone needs to sit with them and tell them.. they are blowing it... and right out in the open... Get them to get it under control... They have a few years as the majority.. take your time.. right the ship... don't cut services just to cut them because how is running the department.. They have complete controll over next year's budget...Fix it there... Also... They need to stop worrying about the peanuts they saved... and figure out how the hell they can right the wrong with the fire and police departments.. That is where they can save the city by quashing all the law suits and cut the legal fees out... Can save an easy 500k...

Well we knew that this would happen ... it was just a matter of when it would happen. I honestly thought it would take a bit longer than this. __________________ I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... Well she did help it along quite a bit by acting like a jilted lover at the boyfriend's wedding........bitter... bitter...bitter. She is no different than anyone else who ever sat in a Council Seat ... we knew that all along ... sadly for the kids across the hall they are just learning this ... and it will crush them. There seems to be alot of coffee clatches at chez evans. First the invitation was extended to the pilcheski's, and now it seems madame president uses it as a council chamber annex for impromptu meetings with the "in" members. Such an exclusive club to belong to. I wonder if Bob McGoff's membership card got lost in the mail. __________________ Stupid people piss me off !

Funny how Janet used to bitch about the old council getting together for any reason ... and here she is doing the same thing she used to bitch about ... funny how everything is ok if she is doing it ... but not for anyone else.
