School Director Bob Lesh running for State Rep in the 112th District

I heard and know it to be true as I confirmed it ... that on Saturday at 1:00 PM Bob Lesh will announce that he is running for State Rep in the 112th District.

This will take place in front of the Veterans' Center which is I believe located in the 1100 block of Pittston Avenue, in Scranton's South Side.

I had heard some rumblings for quite some time about this ... and well it just goes to show you that some rumors turn out to be a reality.

A three-way race with Ken Smith, Bob Lesh, and Kevin Haggerty?  I'm sensing some behind-the-scenes shenanigans here for spoiler action.

I actually called Mr. Lesh to see if this was true ... he seems quite serious about wanting this spot ... so I don't think he's a spoiler.

Bob Lesh not only will win, he will make a big difference in the district that he will serve, now if we can only find a viable candidate to knock Murphy off.

He seems like a nice guy but my husband is a nice guy, too. I however, have no intention of sending him to harrisburg ..my honey that is :)....lets see what ideas Bob has first please.

I had a conversation with Mr. Lesh he will be having a meeting tomorrow night, Thursday Februay 11th at 7:00 PM at the Waldorf to discuss his plans. I can't make the meeting but it sure would be interesting to see what his plans are. I wish I could be there.

I had the privilege of attending the organizational meeting for Bob Lesh. He is running for State Rep. in the 112 district. I must say, the meeting was well run. There was approximately 20 people in attendance. Bob must be doing his homework in Moscow because people I talked to were from Covington,Roaring Brook and Elmhurst. There will be another meeting Monday, Feb.15 at 7PM. The Waldorf Pk.on Easr Mt. Please come if you have the time and want to support Bob Lesh. All are welcome.

ahhhhh good point Lus.... Biker maybe you could list for our (peekers and readers) the area that district 112 covers?  For many people unless they have dabbled in politics or go looking for the information they are not completely clear which district is which....thanks :)

The 112 consist of south scranton, east scranton,Dunmore, Elmhurst, Roaring Brook, Moscow,Covington twp,Madison twp,clifton twp Daleville, thornhurst,

The poster was excited Glenn ... he/she is apparently very involved in the campaign and is excited about it.

I do wish that the poster would post when future meetings are information such as date place and time would be quite helpful ... there is a calander tool that you can use with your membership ... also I would like to know more about what goes on at these meetings as I find it very difficult to attend. But I will make it to one if I have advance notice.

I will try my very best to make it. After this particular meeting when will the next be held? If you post them more than a day in advance it is much easier for people to plan on attending.
