My experiences with Chris Evans are limited. I have not attended many Evans fundraisers, but I did attend the one at the Dorothy Street Community Center where Janet went on and on for fifteen minutes about how the sun shines out of her son's ass. That's the one where we all paid $20 a head for some announcement that was never announced. Whose brainchild was that?  Having a fundraiser with no campaign at work is a ballsy thing to do, even for Evans.

I've been in Chris Evans' presence perhaps five or six times at the most. The most recent was the night of the first council meeting. He was standing outside. I approached him and started to speak to him. He turned his back on me and walked away. Class act. As the result of those limited exposures to him, I found him loud, rude, ignorant, arrogant, repugnant, disrespectful and so full of himself that I wanted to stick a pin in him to see if he'd burst. Not impressed at all. He has about as much political savvy as the crack of my ass, and that's insulting my ass.

Mommy's boy, in my view, with boy being the operative word. He's a long way from ready for prime time politics in this pond with that attitude, at least as an out-front player. Keep him on a leash until he matures.

LET THE ELECTED OFFICIALS RUN THE CITY. NOT THE CHILDREN OF THEM, OR HUSBANDS, WIVES, GIRLFRIENDS, MOTHERS, FATHERS, AUNTS, UNCLES, SISTERS, BROTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS AND GRANDFATHERS.

I tend to agree. "I'd privatize the DPW, sell the parking garages and the sewer authority". We're to believe that Mr. Bartniki came up with that response spontaneously, right on the spot? Hey, there's no law against helping a guy out with the best answers possible. Knock your socks off. I'm sure every candidate reached out for a little assist somewhere, but when you package his answers with Chris Evans being a close friend and co-worker at West Scranton and also Frank Joyce being a good friend, you get the immediate feeling that someone is pissing down your neck and telling you it's raining. I hope I'm wrong about that, I really do, but I have confidence in my gut instincts.

That's the general consensus. I know the Evans camp is not happy about the discussion. I wouldn't be either. But, this is, after all, Dohertydeceit.com, and since when did we give a fvck who's happy and who's not where there's a situation that doesn't pass the sniff test?  

Why start now? We didn't accumulate over 11 million hits making public officials and their families/friends happy. And, we don't get the respect that we get throwing softballs and kissing ass, either.
