Gatelli to attempt write-in campaign for city council

In a last-minute move, Scranton City Councilwoman Judy Gatelli announced Friday afternoon that she will run a write-in campaign to retain her seat in Tuesday's election.

"A lot of people have been asking me to do this all along," said Mrs. Gatelli, who was defeated in her bid for reelection in May's primary vote.

She said she was swayed by continuing encouragement that was capped by a loud chorus of support during a campaign rally for Mayor Chris Doherty on Thursday night.




When you vote for a candidate as a write in you must remember to color in the little oval and then write in the name of the candidate of your Choice .... Judy Gatelli or whomever it may be.  If you skip this step your vote will not be counted.
