Let me enlighten you McGoof:  the only place you really do have "true" freedom of speech is when you are home alone, talking to yourself.  Otherwise all speech is subject to some set of restrictions, either self-imposed or imposed by others.  Here at least you can engage in a civil discussion about topics without fear of being banned simply because you dare to question some sacred cow (such as Janet Evans)...in fact, we have more than a few posters who can't stand Chris Doherty...and that's fine by me, Lus, and the other moderators.  The only thing we ask of you and other posters is to abide by our very reasonable posting rules (you know, those things you seem incapable of understanding).

The question is this though McGoof...have you ever actually been interesting in having a civil discussion about anything?

So if your feelings are truly that hurt, go ahead and commit ID suicide...ban yourself...and craw back to DD on your belly; after all, Joe did refer to his loyal followers as "Bottom Feeders" anyway.

Yes, McGoof is quite the genius.  Part of his "master plan" was to come here and work everyone up into a lather...instead he just got laughed at and generally screwed with (nice homepage BTW McGoof), which has ended up being kind of fun.

I don't know if this belongs in this topic or not, but I wanted to share this, and it relates to President McGoof.  

President McGoof is a DD regular (or is it irregular?) who has undertaken a campaign of exposing traffic scofflaws.  Every day or so, he seems to expose some new "public figure" who owes outstanding fines, 

Don't misunderstand; I'm behind the effort to run down absconders and have them pay their due, but I don't abide lambasting someone in a scandal sheet to accomplish this mission.  

To the point, dear President McGoof has now begun an e-mail campaign attacking Judicial candidate Margaret Bisignani Moyle, for accepting a donation from a colleague who owes oustanding traffic fines.  Why Michael Goffer owes hundreds of dollars in parking tickets is a story unto itself, but McGoof can't understand why hundreds of anonymous e-mails won't generate a response from Moyle.  

The comedic twist comes in the form that Moyle, upon learning about Michales Goffer's ticket scandal, OVER A WEEK AGO, immediatley returned his donation.              

While President McGoof continues to vilify Bisignani Moyle for an apparent ethical lapse, she has taken the high road by choosing not only to correct any impropriety, but also by refusing to validate anonymous e-mails from "President McGoof".  

I'd love to alert the DD rabble with an "in your face" revelation, but I'd rather sit back and see how long it takes news to trickle back to bizzaro world.
