Ok so I was reading across the hall this and I came across this particular post ... it is kind of funny ... in a couple of ways ... first off the kids across the hall have the nerve to call anyone a racist ... Hello Pot ... your fearless leader throws around the "N" word all of the time ... and thinks that it's alright to say it ... he does not think that anyone should be offended by it .... so for any of you to call someone else a racist when you worship the ground that the true racist walks on takes away any credibility that you may have had ... not that you had any.

Now after reading this it was very easy to disprove ... I picked up the phone and made a few calls ... it was that simple.  Let's give our city a black eye because you want a new Mayor ... let's continue to make crap up that just isn't true ... and can be easily disproved.  Man you all certainly got a spot in the back of the line when God was handing out brains ... I don't think there was anything left by the time he got to you all.  JMHO.

In the wind: A casual African American man working for DPW is making much less than his co-workers.

(all casual workers at the DPW make less money than the union guys ... that's the way it works with unions dumb a$$)
I didn't think DPW hired non-Irish, much less black people. Apparently they don't. (this is just the dumbest statement ... come on now are you going to think for yourself or are you going to let Anti think for you ... or maybe you are Anti posting under another name .... hmmmm!)

I didn't know the city hires casuals. Were these jobs posted?
(have you people been hiding under a rock or what ... and you claim to be so well informed ... they have been hiring casual workers for years and years ... well before Chris Doherty was mayor ... how about you all pay attention to more than Ray Lyman when the council meeting are taking place)

You'd think the city would have well-defined, defensible pay scales.
(They do ... the pay for a casual worker of any race is considerably less than that of a union employee ... that's the way it works ... get a clue)

I am staying tuned, show some proof, I think it is bull$h1t until you show some proof. I have never seen a black person working at the Dpw.There are very few black people who work for the city. (for the record I believe that there are 5 African Americans working for the DPW one which is a casual worker ... making the same amount of money as all the other casual workers ... and the others are union employees ... hey they even have one driving ... wake up people ... do the research ,... make a call ... you can find this out really easy ... I did ... and did you know that the last gentleman hired for the DPW and brought into the union was ... that's right you guessed it ... an African American gentleman ... sorry to burst your little bubble!) The police department for the longest time was all white expect for one who recently passed away after retirement, (what about John Burgette ... he's been on the force for years ... I think that he would be shocked to find out that he is really a white guy ... all these years he has spent on this earth and to just find out that he is white ... like I said he will be shocked!) and I think the Dpw has always been all white, ask anti(because Anti would know ... he's always up on everything in the City of Scranton ... OMG ... I trust his opinion ... NOT!)

It's news to me. A black man working for DPW? Can't be true.
(Isn't everything news to you ... you wouldn't admit it even if you knew it to be true because then you would have to admit that Pilchesky is a big racist and Doherty isn't.  But then again you are a racist so it's hard to see in someone else what you cannot see in yourself!)
Then again, nothing surprises me. At Council, Ozzie said he met a man who works for SPA who retired with two pensions. This man is going to receive 3 pensions when it is all said and done.

On second though, it makes perfect sense to hire a black man as a casual in DPW.

Somebody has to do the work during election season while John Hazzouri et al. are out putting up signs.
(Wow ... to this whole post ... oh and I guess since you brought it up ... how do you figure that John Hazzouri is Irish ... thought that the DPW was only for the Irish ... Sam Vitris ... not Irish ... many are not Irish)

that does make sense now, anti, and with a casual position he will be easier to fire after he serves his purpose, and doherty might think it will get him some of the black vote too
(Are you people for real?  And that wouldn't lead to a lawsuit ... what a bunch of losers you all really are ... come on I think you can all come up with something better than this ... something that isn't so easy to disprove ... come on give us a hard one ... something hard to do the research on ... I like a challenge!)

In the words of many DD posters ... "Can't make this $hit up!"  Oh that's right you can ... what you can't make up is the stupidity of Joe Pilchesky and his little cult like followers.
