Could this off-handed comment have Dan Hubbard in a lather??? Before Doherty: There was panic at the disco every time a raindrop hit the Lackawanna River. There were people up in arms from Carbondale all the way the hell down to Old Forge (and points south). These municipalities have worked on levies and dikes from upstream all the way down the line. You divert water upstream (Carbondale and Olyphant) the banks are definitely going to widen downstream (Scranton). The only people that should be bitching about the work Doherty has done in Scranton, are the people downstream. If the Lower Green Ridge people have a gripe about the floodwaters - bitch to the Olyphant Borough and Carbondale CIty/Twp Administrators, because it's THEIR fault the banks are overflowing in Lower Green Ridge. Chris Doherty has made a valiant effort to divert the flood waters along the Lackawanna and nothing any of you nay-sayers say can change that. Dan's comments across the hall: Doherty taking credit for Flood Project in Lower Greenridge.....Are you kidding me? - Scranton "Political" Times Hey Dan -- "Lather, Rinse, Repeat" and FYI, first of all Chris Doherty IS NOT taking credit as you say, the faux pas was entirely mine. Also, another poster has already brought me to task about the comment and I have made a change to said inadvertent comment on the original thread. he sure can dish out the $hit ... but he is very sensitive about every little thing. It's funny how he HAD to mention it, but couldn't make any reference to where he read it, other than the city board). It's a good thing pilcheski's all distracted with having his fingers in so many pies. He finds out Hubbard made mention of a post on Lus's board, he'll send Hubbard's fanny floating down the Lackawanny . HA -- Swim, Danny, SWIM !!! __________________ Stupid people piss me off !

You are right ... have you ever noticed they never mention that they read here ... but clearly they do ... and well a few post here as well ... Danny certainly did get all upset over that one ... I know he reads here ... he can post and reply if he want's we would welcome him as a memeber. __________________ I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... Internet message boards are the only places where Danny actually seems to amount to anything. What does that tell you? It's like holding the world's record for the 60 yard dash...in the Special Olympics. I'll give Danny this much though...he sure writes a great apology letter.
