Lets face it the latino's are here and there not going anywhere. They should be represent also at city hall just like us irish have been for years.

Gatelli who cares what she says about tolerate one of her children marrying out of his/her race! Her daugher has the child of a drug addict he is in and out of jail all the time she might have been better off with a black guy.....

Are you kidding me, they have nothing else to get Judy on so now here they are talking about her daughter and grandson again, which by the way have NOTHING to do with the election or her being a coucilperson.........I do know that Judy would never say those words about marrying outside their race,  for godsakes, her one daughter is an esl teacher who works with minority kids everyday and LOVES it.......Judy maybe fair game, but leave the kids and grandkids out of it.......peace out

They are off limits period. But that is something that the kids across the hall just can't get through their thick skulls.

What the hell does Judy's daughters life choices have to do with Scranton Politics? Nothing, and I know Judy and I have never heard her say anything that would be remotley racist towards anyone. These people have nothing better to do than sit around all day making up crap to make themselves seem more important than they actually are! How sad!

Yes, I agree Taylor, but now we have the sister of the Mayor being targeted by Pilchesky and his personal goon squad...she's not a public person and therefore she is entitled to some measure of privacy.  Now she will know the joy of having some low-grade moron going through her trash at 11pm.

I guess this all points to the desparation Joe must be feeling now...he puts all his assets in Edith's name and wouldn't you know it, she most likely will have to replay the $150,000 she bilked from her late father's estate.  

By the way, where has Edith been?  I haven't seen a single post from our favorite convicted felon in a while.

Well, with the lot in her name do we actually think she'll sell HER house to support HIS habit? Heck, even she knows she'd be better off with a pro bono public defender than anyone joe can get for her. (Look what happened last time he tried to help.)

She's spent enough time quote waxing the vette unquote for joe. Girlfriend is probably looking forward to some peace and quiet in the pokey. You never know, Large Marge might take a shine to her and edith can be her bitch for only a carton of Lucky's and a toothbrush.

Now have any of you noticed that Joe used to refer to Edith's son as "his son" and now he calls the child Joanne's son ... did anyone else notice that?????

What do we think that could mean?????? Is there trouble brewing between the lovebirds since Joe FVCKED UP and now Joanne is going to the pokey???

Apparently ... at least according to Joe, "Joanne's son" who is 13 years old was ... along with a few of his friends ... playing with fireworks ... well one the kids thought that it would be fun to tape one to Joanne's son's back ... and needless to say the child was badly burned. Now if this truly did happen my heart goes out to this child ... but this was the reason for asking for a delay and well I personally just don't believe this story. If I am wrong I apologize.

But the point is this ... Joe used to call the child "my son" ... now Joe calls the child "Joanne's son" ... Why?

I genuinely feel bad for this young man.  Think about it: 

...he has Joe Pilchesky for a step-father (an elderly man who files lawsuits for a living) & all of a sudden he has gone from "son" to "Joanne's son"
...he got badly burned
...his mom is most likely going to jail
...he can probably never get on a computer at the house (what with Joe & Edith on constantly)

...seems like a lot of strikes against him, which just shouldn't be.

It is election time and the Doherty brain trust has all their pay to play cronies out ther writing letters.
We see Terry Gallagher's gal Marg already wrote hers.
Today we are blessed with Michael J. Foley Jr.   Remember him?  He is another parking ticket scofflaw.   How much trust can we put in a man who owes the city money and refuses to pay?  He has had several tickets fixed by the magistrate, sorry i mean "FORGIVEN" but he stills owes money.
Commonwealth Court rules require that the magistrate issue warrants for his arrest.  Has it been done?  Is he a parking ticket fugitive?
Guess he only cares about the city for what he can get out of it, not what he can contribute.
Attorney Foley you should be ashamed, although I have heard lawyers have no conscience.  Your ethics are certainly questionable.

But it's ok not to pay your property taxes and garbage fees ... oh that's right it's only ok if your Joe or Joanne Pilchesky ... see it is a double standard. Joe Pilchesky who has his little sheep in line can do no wrong in the eyes of the kids across the hall and some who post here ... (Shari, Glenn) ... Oh they balk a bit about things that he says but then they turn around and make up excuses for him ... and try and justify the things he says and does. And when he didn't pay his taxes ... well Shari said if it were true that he was wrong then she disappeared ... and said no more about it. Way to take a stand ... and if I remember right Glenn didn't see the problem with it ... so I guess we are all just picking on poor Joe and Joanne ... hell they can even steal money from a dying man and it's ok with the kids who post across the hall ... beat a sleeping drunk half to death with a tire iron ... so what ... who cares ... it was Joe Pilchesky who did it ... they will claim that he must have had a good reason! There is not a good enough reason and they don't get it ... for any of the things that they have done ... ruin the lives of innocent children who happen to be the children or grandchildren of local officials and politicians ... so what ... they say ... they deserved it ... what a bunch of losers! I'll take that bait...

Shari enables Pilchesky because:

a) He/she posts at DD as BoPeep, and Joe knows that.  Best to not offend the master.

b) He/she doesn't want to offend the master because DD offers a "big stick" to whack Mayor Doherty with.  Forget all the border-line evil $hit that happens at DD (blaming suicides on Doherty, racism, homophobia, antisemitism, etc.) what matters to Shari is that Joe bashes Doherty.  Typical union "the ends justify the means" thuggery.

c) He/she genuinely doesn't give a crap about anything other than his/her own pocket-book issues.  Hey, I don't blame him/her...if my wages were frozen and the Mayor threatened to take away my ability to have a side job (if I were a fireman) I would be tempted befriend and make excuses for people like Joe who shared my angst/point of view.  Note that I used the word "tempted".



Glenn enables Pilchesky because:

a) The forum keeps his name out in the public eye...useful for future political races.

b) Better to make friends with people who would say bad things about you than to have them as enemies.  I don't think Glenn would want Joe & company to write about his family the way they do about the familes of Chris Doherty, Judy Gatelli, etc.

c) Becasue he is "legitimate", his more moderate posts are tolerated at DD by Joe, as it lends some very small air of credibility to the forum.  Not getting bashed by Joe encourages Glenn to post more (see a & b).

That and the fact you won't see any other attorney or professional person actually put his/her own name out there on DD for the world to see. It's mighty ballsy of him, I must say. But if Glenn decides to run again (for whatever position) he'll either get chewed up and spit out by the dd crew, or he'll lose miserably because of his association with them.
