Ok read the following posts and take into consideration that both postings are Joey-boy, (one of the postings, of course, is under one of his multitude of aliases) then consider my question. I will have three scenarios at the bottom. Pick the one which seems to make most sense to you.
1. Frank Joyce's "Boy Scout"/"Rainbow" image/personna is not rooting any confidence that he's going to be crossing the wire in front of either Gatelli, or perhpas even the very beatable Fanucci. Rogan can easily take Fanucci out, but the crass Gatelli does has a voter base. She's working on increasing that with promises of sugar plums of the political kind as we speak. Voters don't need much of a promise, clean a lot up here, fill pot holes there, it's that shallow. This is a woman who has come through on many a promise over her 25 years, so she's going to be in the race going down the stretch. 2. You weren't decisive about running due to the burden of issues with your very ill father. No one knew where you stood, so they moved on without you. Life happens that way. As we both know, your father was a Navy diver of the high risk kind, travelling the world as a member of a special elite group of divers. 200 feet down was just another day at the office for those guys. As the son of a man with balls bigger than a battleship, you have expectations to fulfill, like doing the right thing when a city is in trouble. Your father lived a wildly exciting life as a Navy diver, risking it under incredibly dangerous circumstances. As he bravely faces his final dive, it's my opinion that it would be a gift for him to see you "get in the water". He would prefer to see you do that and you know it. So, my humble suggestion is this: Get the fvck in the water! Take Gatelli out. It's obvious that Joyce cannot.
To run on the R ticket in this city, or this nation for that matter, is suicide in the general. The straight D vote will make sure of that. The time to run as an R has already passed, anyway.
See Doherty vs. DiBileo 2005 - lost by 5% margin after winning a write-in on the R side.
Mrs. Evans has made her choice........Why would I enter this race at this stage in the game? To be labeled a spoiler?
This is Scranton, not Evansville. Her choices are her's. Not everyone's. Too many people are not confident in her choice of Joyce. Look at it this way, if Joyce is turning off loyalists, who will vote for him no matter what if there's no better choice, what will the fencers be thinking? At least on this day, and granted, that is subject to change, a lot of people want a better choice. I get the spoiler thing, but it's viewed best with hindsight. Foresightedly speaking, Gatelli will trash Joyce for no other reason than the undecideds will not like what Joyce presents when they meet him, if they ever do. Very often, people only hear about candidates from others. The word on Joyce resonates 'wimp', which is fine if he follows Evans' lead on council, but there's the issue of getting him elected first.
Right after I posted earlier in this thread I recieved a call from Dave Evans telling me that this team was going to be the "top vote getter" in the race and that there was no way that these guys could lose with Janet carrying them. The team had been picked and Janet was not changing it.
"Dewey Wins". Of course, Dave Evans is going to say, "the team is going to be the top vote getter". Did you expect, "We think we're going to be hammered"?
After Courtrights fundraiser I recieved a call from a big Evans supporter telling me that if I ran on the D ticket that I was going to be a "spoiler" for the Evans team and that there would be "bad feelings" between me and the Evans camp.
Others disagree. I'm among them. Joyce is scary.
Janet made her choice and you guys have to live with it.
Says who?
I'm not going to put my time, money, energy into this race just to split votes and be labeled a spoiler by a candidate and a team that I thought was on the same page as I am. Thats the problem with agendas...They always get in the way.
Yeah, agendas. They're like *******s, everybody has one.Mine is beating Gatelli. What's yours?
Lets hope she is right. Good luck.
That simple, eh? Just "Good luck". Maybe I should get my rocker out, shut this site down, stop doing what's right and what's good for this city, and make my final post, "Good Luck"?

Joe, you're beating your head against the wall for nothing. It won't change anything. It's Joyce - Rogan - Evans. Like a marriage, for better or worse. We have what we have. That's it. If we want Gatelli and Fanucci out, we have to get behind that team.
Agenda A
Glen has accurately pointed out that an Evans majority win relegates Joey-boy and his website to yesterday’s news for quite awhile. An Evan’s loss would close the site down. An Evan’s win without a majority win (meaning council remains relatively unchanged) would ensure his website and thus himself stay alive for a bit longer.
Agenda B
Joey has finally discovered that Miss Jan has been using him and he is out to get her (politically speaking of course) while maintaining his precious little piece of attention via the website.
Agenda C
Joey has finally realized that being associated with politicians almost certainly costs them votes. In the current climate of “booting incumbents to the curb” he is concerned his special little friend Missy Jan might need every vote she can get without anymore baggage around her neck. (God knows her husband, her son, and that awful voice are baggage enough) Therefore, he is attempting to put the dogs off the scent by looking like he is “unhappy” with the Evan’s Camp.

You stand behind that team. If the election was held today, Evans would be fine, Rogan would be licking his Gatelli inflicted wounds and Joyce would be saying to himself, "I can't believe I got beat by a poodle." (Because the poodle barked and showed a little fang)
It's the furthest thing in the world from simple.
Do you actually think Gatelli, Fanucci and/or Charles are just going to roll over and play dead? There are many ways to beat Rogan and Joyce. Push comes to shove, someone has to want it more than the other guy. That's what will determine the winner.
We all know how innately passive Gary is. Well, Joyce makes Gary look like Rambo. The difference being that Gary has a team behind him to handle to "pretty" side of politics this time around. Who does Joyce have doing that?
Until she sees otherwise, Gatelli sees this as a cakewalk. I'm in agreement with her. Fanucci is a different story, she's totally screwed. Charles, properly presented, can whack either Rogan or Joyce if they continue to stay silent and subdued.
Mr. Pilchesky, it would seem to me that supporting the Evans slate would be to the best interests of the city. Why are you doing whatever you can to cut Frank Joyce's throat? Is it personal or what? I believed you wanted Gatelli and Fanucci gone. WTF?
BINGO! You are correct!! This post is another indication of the depths he will stoop to to get attention. Yes you guessed it Joey again. :) He really is pathetic lol
PresidentMcgoof is a little goofy, Hardcore, but the over-reaction isn't necessary.
The Times AND Jeremy Burton have been $hitting down the necks of the union employees for how long now?
I guess that's not disgusting enough for you. I'm not defending McGoof, but free speech isn't always what we like to read. If you want a sample of that, read Burton's work. You're defending a reporter who'd be thrilled to be a part of shutting this site down. You're defending a reporter on the side of Sherry Fanucci who has voted against the unions since day one.
It's not disgusting when the Times goes on the attack but it's disgusting when their reporters do??
Burton brought this on himself. He took the first cheap shot. He exposed himself to a response. He looks like a full-grown adult to me. On the other hand, you don't sound like one in this circumstance. Stand up for what's right. Burton threw a cheap punch. Pilchesky punched back. People on this site were angered and threw a few of their own. That's life.

Agenda A as the narcassist in Joe can't ever let go of that site. He like the attention ... it fuels his ego. Definetly Agenda A.
And good for Hubbard for realizing that Pilchesky only wants to use him.
