I'm hearing that young Mr Connors resigned from his city position as part of a plot by Mossad, the CIA, the ICN, the Illuminati, pro-fluoridation elements within the ADA and the publishers of Reader's Digest to secretly create an opening to allow a Klingon agent to infiltrate Scranton city hall.
(the next Assistant Zoning Officer?)
I swear, it's in the wind...

He resigned stating that it was for personal reasons.

The whole episode is a sad example of how politics often works...not just in this area, but in many areas.
On the "sleaze-O-meter" it's right up there with sitting on the School Board while you are getting appointed for a teaching position...by that same School Board.

In the wind: Linda Munley throwing the towel in It's getting windy around here.
The latest is that Register of Wills, Linda Munley is not going to run for re-election. Munley would be unbeatable if she does run, but that little tidbit is in the wind today. I think this position chimes in at $66,173.00 a year.
Line forms at the rear.
And later we have a poster copying and pasting a Roderick Random articles that contradicts Joey's in the wind

Well soon find out if the Lackawanna County Republican Party can improve on its dismal record on fielding candidates for county row offices.
It hasnt had any in more than a decade.
The county Democratic Party, which holds all the row offices, never has that problem.
This year, in at least one case, the Democrats have an abundance of candidates they probably dont want.
Seven-term incumbent Sheriff John Szymanski, 72, of Scranton, will likely face a challenge from 25-year Deputy Sheriff Chester Cipilewski.
Mr. Cipilewski, 59, the former president of the deputies union, plans to adopt as the cornerstones of his campaign a need for better courthouse security, improved relationships with small-town police departments and a need for change after 28 years of one sheriff.
Efforts to reach the sheriff were unsuccessful.
Mr. Szymanski is one of three longtime Democratic row officers seeking re-election this year. The others are Recorder of Deeds Evie Rafalko McNulty, 49, of Scranton, who is after a fourth term, and Register of Wills Linda Munley, 60, of Jessup, who wants a sixth.
.... hmmmm ... so which do we believe???? I know which I believe ....

"In The Wind" = A bitter city hall or county clerk sent Joe an email.
I am sure that Pilchesky loves the idea of getting all these inside tips, as it makes him feel "special". The fact that most are probably incorrect doesn't matter all that much.
