Ok ... so today is the day ... the day that I begin my healthy living ... I thought that it was bad ... ok so I knew it was bad ... I just weighed myself ... and I guess I will look at it this way ... it could have been much much worse ... but still it wasn't good.

Any way .... here it is ... I weighed in at 5:15 AM and my weight is

195.8

My goal is 130 lbs ... this will not be skinny for me by any means ... so therefore I must lose 65 lbs ... I thought that was what I would have to lose ... but we are always hopeful ... so anyway I have not decided if I will torture myself on a daily basis or if I will weigh in once a week ... I'm thinking that I should weigh in every morning ... but that I should only put my weigh in up on Monday mornings ...

So like I said the weight loss goal is 65 lbs ... I don't have a date that I want to accomplish this by ... I think it would be unreasonable to think that I would have this off by June for the start of Summer ... but by then I should have a great portion of the weight off. I want to do this slowly ... rather than quick ... that way I may have a better chance of keeping it off. I am hoping for a 2 lb per week loss ... if I am able to do this I should have the weight off by the mid September ... wish me luck! And I will post my weight again next Monday ... even if I have a gain ... I will still post!

I edited this to change my goal weight to 130 from 135.

Ok ... so I weighed in this morning .... I figure that I will weigh in at 5 AM or as close to it as I can ... for some reason in my mind it is important to get on the scale at the same time when I weigh in ... I don't know why so don't ask ... it's a crazy little quirk that I have.

Anyway today I weighed in at ........ drum roll please!

190.6

Weight lost = 5.2 pounds (Most of which is probably water weight ... but I'll take it ... )

which is 2.15% of my weight gone! Only 31.46% to go! I'm excited!

Well anyway ... Have a great day ... not bad for week one!

Ok ... so I am excited ... a loss again!

186 pounds (Wooooo Hooooo)

weight lost this week = 4.6 pounds
Total weight lost = 9.8 pounds
percentage of weight lost = 5% of weight

Only 28.61% to go.

I am getting excited ... as long as I lose and I don't gain it's exciting. God forbid I gain ... but I will put that up. Again ... I know the first 10 pounds that come off are easy pounds ... and mostly water weight ... but like I said last week .... I'll take it!

Well I'm not going to get on the scale for another 2 days ... but I am not feeling good about this past week ... I don't know why ... I didn't cheat ... I just don't feel like I lost even an ounce ... Have any of you ever felt really fat ... well that is how I am feeling today ... i feel like I weight 1 million pounds ... but anyway ... gain or lose I will post the weight on Monday morning ... worst case I have a gain ... best I am hoping for this Monday is that I at the very least stayed the same and didn't gain.

The weighing thing is tough...on one hand you do have weigh yourself with some regularity, but the reality is that your weight can vary from day to day for reasons other than your diet (i.e., retaining water...food that takes longer to "pass", etc.). The trick is to look at it over time. If the trend line is down, you are doing well.

I hear what it is that you are saying ... I didn't weight in yet as I do that at 5 AM ... and I still have a little over 2 hours befor I weigh in ...Couldn't sleep last night ... I don't think that its because I have to weigh in ... but now that I am up and waiting for my coffee to brew ... it's all I seem to be able to think about. UGH! I don't know why but I just know I didn't do well this week.

Ok ... so I got lost in the wonderful world of DD and didn't get to weigh in at 5 AM ...

But I did weigh in and I was not happy .... so here it is

Starting weight: 195.8
Today's weight: 185

Total weight lost is 10.8 pounds since January 5 ... which is not bad ... I was hoping for 2 pounds per week so I am ahead of the game ... but it would have been nice to lose more than 1 pound this past week .... Oh well keep on going ... I'm not going to let it get me down.

% of weight lost = 5.51% lost
Only 28.09% left to go Wooooo Hooooo! (she said trying to be enthusiastic)

I'm not down ... I know that I have to do something ... but I think instead of joining a gym I have decided to buy the firm workout and get and ab rocket ... in the long run I think that it will be cheaper.

I was thinking about it today and what always happens when I join a gym is that I am really good for the first 3 months ... and then bang I come up with som sort of excuse ... so I think that if I have this in my own home that I will be more likely to use it and if I don't then I won't have wasted hundreds of dollars on a gym membership that goes to waste.

Have to think about these things in these tough economic times.

Anyway ... here is my weight in for this week.

starting weight= 195.8
2/2/09 weight = 183.6

total weight lost = 12.2 pounds
% of body wieght lost = 6.43%

Woooo Hoooo Only 27.18% to go .... hey it's now going how I thought it would ... and a loss is a loss so I'm going to celebrate it.

Hey yesterday was the first time someone noticed that I had lost a bit of weight ... that was exciting.

Not sure what happened I must not have hit the submit button right. I thoughtIhadresponded to last weekspost. Don't get discouraged keep on doing what you are doing....it will be ok. As long as you reduce your over all calorie intake by around 3500 for the full week you will lose weight. :)) We are cheering for you!!

...and always remember that most normal people add weight on gradually over years, so even if it takes the better part of a year to take it off, that's still a hell of a lot faster than it took to gain it.

I have been so bad last week ... I did not lose but I did not gain ... so that's good.

181.2 ... I thought for sure I was gonna gain ... damn birthday party this weekend ... pizza ... beer ... cake ... wings ... It's amazing that I didn't gain ... Had a couple of hot dogs with the works ... I am so ashamed ... Not really I needed it! And hell my neice only turns 21 once in a lifetime! But I think that the celebration went on for 3 days ....

Anyway back to healthy living this week ....

I have been so bad ... but I am getting back on the program starting today. I was very discouraged that I was not losing so I backslid ... but the good thing about how bad I was is this ....I was 182.2 and I cheated big time ... I am now 182.6 ... and I know a pound or two of that is water weight ... you girls know what I'm talking about! it could have been much worse as last week I didn't even get on the scale.

I did make one change over this weekend ... I devoted myself to fun exercise ... that's right it seems that I have now found a way to make exercise more enjoyable ... I bought a Wii ... and the Wiifit ... great fun and I exercised for an hour and a half yesterday and it felt like 10 minutes ... it's a lot of fun and I guess a way to get me started.

I'll let you know how it works out.

I was thinking about it for a long time ... and I can tell you that the Wii is the best thing I bought in a long time. I'm just getting used to the exercises that came with it I'm sure that I will find some new ones when I get used to these. But I can't believe that exercise is finally fun.

You need to lose some of your weight. Start some regular exercise plan and take right foods for cutting your extra body fat.
A cardio exercise plan and raw veggies diet plan will be more effective for your weight loss.
