Why do you all think this needed so many edits to it? I can't imagine what it said that would need to be edited so much.

i am curious if anyone on this board knows anything about this self serving and greedy a**hole from the NorthPoconoarea. this guy and our recently exiled commish, king Bob, are two peas in a pod. they make bad politics look good.

This is JOey's new motis operandi of changing the original names of a thread to coincede with his mental state at the time. It's a poor man's way of driving up view numbers and to give a thread that's on life support another week. The DOlt's at JOey LanD think it's a new thread or new information from their fearless leader when it's not. I noticed JOey's been doing the same thing to posts that are 1-2 years old to again rehash the same unsubstantiated claims by himself and the DOlts at JOey LanD.

That's why there hasn't been anything worthy to read at JOey LanD in months and the DOlts have been pretty boring. There are few if any original posters offering their opinions so JOey LanD has become the focal point for cutting & pasting articles (many which are copyrighted, so I bet they got permission to repost) from every news source, blog site, and web site they can access with their computers. Rarely can you tie one of those cut & paste specials to Scranton, unless it's a state wide or national issue.

As it's has been and will be, JOey LanD is no more a gathering of disgruntled folks who use the internet to vent their frustrations with regards to their own shortcomings and to make themselves feel better by trying to make others as miserable as they are. I hope they understand that even though everyone in the world who has unrestricted access to the internet can view their site, it doesn't mean that anyone outside of Scranton is going to JOey LanD. I take it Kurt Shotko's Critical Thinking or Common Sense Revival hasn't inspired the DOlts at JOey LanD to be a positive influence on the universe.

I do believe one statement JOey prophesized will come to pass: "the wheels come off in 200?" And I believe he meant his own JOey LanD.

I've noticed that FDSP...good catch...and I think we've all commented on the lack of content at DD over the past few months. Simply cutting and pasting stories from a newspaper that they are supposed to be boycotting anyway is more stupid than anything else.

What's next for Pilchesky to drive up his numbers?
...maybe a few "new" posters?
...maybe a death-threat or two against Pilchesky?
...maybe a death-threat against Edith?

The bloom has come off the skunk cabbage.

If Mr. Shimkus was more like Gaynor Cawley who was never in Harrisburg you'd all be bitching about that too.Can't please them all, but enough are happy to vote for Mr. Shimkus by a large margin.

Shimkus' latest mail flyer to all Republicans: SCREW YOU - Flyer header states 117th not 113th district

In Harrisburg todaymy wife and Ifiled aPetition for Review asking the court to review Preacher Shimkus' testimoney under oath given on February 28, 2008 and declare that he committed perjury in an attempt to escape filing fraudulent nomination petitions and affidavits.

We also filed a Motion for Expedited Hearing asking for a hearing to be held before Nov. 4, 2008 so the voters could know whether or not Shimkus committed perjury. If the expedited hearing is not granted, it will happen at a later date, but if the court determines that Shimkus perjured himself, he's history. He'll be removed from office almost immediately. So, it's quite possible that a vote for Shimkus is a vote for a candidate who won't likely be able to serve if elected.

While in Harrisburg, we went to the Office of the Attorney General and made a formal request that the AG file a Quo Warranto Action to remove Shimkus from office for willfully violating various sections of the Election Code relating to his fraudulently filed nomination petitions and affidavits. When you ask the AG to do that, you have to actually prepare the legal action yourself to set out the supporting facts, append the exhibitsand then submit it to them with the request to take action. That's the rule. This action on its own could take Shimkus out of office.
