Posts: 33 Date: Sep 6 5:07 PM, 2008 Attacking Covington Township was a good sized effort on Pilcheskys end. There's a lot of time invested so far and it's really only just getting started on the legal front. I'm sure Pilchesky would have preferred to avoid it, but Yerke wasn't cooperative enough to resign.
Moving on to North Pocono, now that's an entirelydifferent animal. The paper trails there are miles and miles long. The influential people involved are a totally different class of people, too. Pilchesky won't be dealing with any Yerkes at NP. NP will be in an awkward position. If they give up the documents I think they're going to be in ahotseatand if they don't Pilchesky will take them to court to get them. Then they're still going to be in a hot seat.
Pilchesky has followed through on everything he's threatened to do since he started this website. I'd say he's not bluffing and NP can brace itself to have a lot of its very dirty laundry publicly washed right here.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but Pilchesky has NOT FOLLOWED THROUGH on the following threats made on his website:
Ag correct me if I am wrong here ... but wasn't he supposed to serve Judy Gatelli with subpoenas at 6 consecutive meetings ... I thought that's what he said he was going to do ... And lets not forget all the times he promised the kids across the hall a speech at the podium ... and he never showed up! Oh yeah he has followed through on all promises ... and then there was the countless flyers that would change the course of the last 2 elections ... and wasn't he supposed to start a weekly paper? There are so many things he said he was going to do .... And he never did it!

You're right Lus...and there are probably other instances of "over promise, under deliver" on the part of Joe Pilchesky. BUT Pilchesky is doing what Pilchesky does...I look at it this way: Rats gnaw through garbage cans...that's what they do, it's in their nature...so in some ways I'm beginning to believe that Pilchesky is just following what's in his nature...he can no more stop being a bitter, narcissistic old man than that rat can stop gnawing through garbage cans*. His "followers" though are a different story. One would think that a few of them would actually read that post from "Pilchesky's Brain..." and think to themselves something along the lines of "Hey, wait a minute, he HASN'T followed through on all the things he's promised...".
(*) Don't give me credit for original thinking here; the above is from an old fable that goes something like this: a rat and a scorpion come to a river bank and the rat, who can swim, is about to cross. The scorpion, who can not swim, says to the rat, "I would be very grateful if you could please take me across to river." The rat looks at him and says "No, if I let you come near me, you'll sting me and I'll die". The scorpion responds, "I promise that I will not sting you". So the rat degrudgingly agrees and allows the scoprion to climb on his back and sets across the river. Once they reach the safety of the other side, the scorpion immediately stings the rat. The rat, as he is dying, says to the scorpion "Why did you sting me? You promised me that wouldn't." The scorpion replies "I had to, for it's in my nature; it's what I do". The moral of the story is simple: People can say one thing, but ultimately they are driven by who they are...what's in their nature.
